A typical store café with standard selection of breakfast and lunch style items. Food is average but for the price decent value. The seating area is spacious and almost always guaranteed to find a seat. Be prepared to wait a little for your food however. Fish and chips - fish was crispy and nice but chips a little on the stale / reheated side. Still worth a visit after a long shopping trip.
I do love the wholesomeness and the old-school, school dinnersy taste of the meals here. Though not as wallet-friendly as it once was, the Morrisons cafe is popular as ever especially with more elderly patrons who choose to combine their shop and a social of sorts which should always be supported and encouraged. The employees there are far too few and they work very hard - that is undeniably true are not the quickest. I suspect there may be too make cooks im a sense but a better reign on the management of the processes and timescales would be amazing. I think management in the fullest sense with appraisals and staff review and targets would not add anything to the diner experience and could possibly lead to the place loosing some of its nostalgic charm. Look, it does exactly what it says on the tin. The fish and chips, and apple crumble and custard are my form favourites. If we could just get the orders in and delivered to tables a tad quicker - it would have been a solid 5/5* from me. Wheelchair accessibility: It can be a bit narrow and difficult to navigate for a wheelchair user. Especially when some of the young mums carelessly and selfishly leave their prams, buggies and children to clutter and clog the pathways. People just need to think a little more about others and far far less about themselves. Or their feral children.
Before I launch into my critique, I would like to give a massive shout out to the lovely and massively overworked cashier who served us. We ordered two vegetarian dishes with sausages and when the food came my daughter's sausages looked different to mine. I stupidly assumed this was to do with her having from the children's menu and only after she had her first bite did I see that it looked suspiciously pork like. I tasted a bit and indeed it was pork, which we don't eat. Whilst the cashier did resolve this with another meal, there is no going back from what happened. Again I will point out this was not the fault of the cashier but an error in the kitchen. My breakfast was awful frankly and even my daughter, a die hard lover of hash browns, concluded that mine was burnt and didn't want it. The picture is supposed to show a mushroom and hash brown...say no more. I left not even trusting the vegetarian sausages we eventually had. Another point was that the cutlery was not all clean. I did approach a manager who understood about the sausage scenario and offered a refund. I explained that a refund could not help with what had happened and tried to show her the state of the food generally, at which point she was no longer interested and started talking about the temperature of the hash browns being at a minimum. I did try to explain we knew what hash browns were supposed to taste like, and also what a mushroom generally looks like, but she became agitated rather than concerned unfortunately. The cafe might have good deals but at a very high price for one's digestive system. I would not eat here again and would advise against it I'm afraid, particularly if you have dietary preferences or needs.
I went with my 3yro child and my partner. On arrival you could use a self service to order your meal, very straightforward and you can scan your morrisons more card. When I arrived at the till I was faced with a very ill mannered cashier I literally wanted a full refund such a game changer. I wanted to leave! After we sat down another member of the cafe staff came to our table named Floernce, she changed everything she was so attentive so kind and gentle. She made us so happy we will be back. Thank God for Florence. Over all its nice and easy there food is good and it's great for kids. There wasn't any vegan options.
This has to be the WORST breakfast ,have ever had. Mushroom was soogy, vet ,uncooked, sausage burnt. I have asked ,why is like that and was told that this is the was it suppose to be,not bothering at all to rectify and deal.witv the complaint. Second ,I was asked:where do I want to seat ? When the caffe was all empty ,was basically asked to seat where it was more convenient for the cashier to bring the tray out of commodity so she won't walk to much. Cos ,I didn't want,if I want to seat next to the window I will seat there, this is not a 5 star restaurant to be seated by waiter. Cashier was very rude ,her attitude was clearly one -just couldn't bother about any complaint. Was there for the 1st time and only cos I needed to take some medication had to have something to eat ,otherwise I would have asked for a Refund. Veggie sausages was AWFUL taste. CO -of Morrison should check Sainsbury breakfast to see the difference and not only customer service they have. 1st time and last for me Morrisson is just a Brand a name but their staff and product doesn't match up. Definitely not worth the money £7 Have also asked for plastic nives and fork but they didn't have and without saying anything ,the cashier said-we washed it properly ,I didn't ask ,out of my preference, would have preferred plastic and substanable ones.
Place is Clean Staff very polite. Breakfast is Unbelievably Delicious and Atmosphere is 10/10 Cant Wait To Come Back again #AmadhkailaahayFood: 5/5
This is one of my nearest supermarket stores to have a cafe, it's alright, definately not 5 stars, decent fish & chips, weird sticky toffee pudding sticky toffee is a must avoid when at the cafe, convient online ordering. overall, 4 stars
Best avocado with poached eggs I have eaten. Perfectly cooked eggs, rivals any fancy cafe effort. Brought to the table. All day breakfast options Clean and reasonably priced. In store toilets
Poor service just asked for a toasted bacon sandwich. Would only provide a roll. Will not return and not really a cafe.Food: 1/5
Sadly I can’t leave zero stars but awful experience. Tall skinny woman with glasses and her assistant cook I think were deep in conversation about something on her phone & blocking the teapot section of the self service, they ignored me until I said excuse me please. Whereupon I was given the filthiest look as if to say “how dare you interrupt our private conversation” after they showed me where things were and having not visited the store before it was all very frosty. Me and my disabled wife were made to feel very very unwelcome indeed. I will not be visiting the Enfield branch again. Having read other poor reviews it would appear that management really don’t give a damn about customer service. Parking: Enfield disabled bays parking was ample
