The training I received was shocking 4 different trainers and still not knowing relevant information for me to be able to do my job correctly and efficiently, still having to ask how to do certain tasks as i wasnt told collectly . This is clearly bad management so disorganised. The people were not friendly and didn't make me feel welcome infact I felt very uncomfortable the first week. The pay was less than fair given the requirements of the job however the benefits recieved made it worthwhile . The canteen staff where always friendly and nice and the food was good . Although I did really like my job I was left with no choice but 2 leave after being told by employees that the actual manager James would look for excuses to let me go as I was experiencing numbness in my hands . My manager never questioned my decision so I can only presume what I was told to be correct. Clearly not a company that cares abouts there employees. Most of the employees that work here don't have anything nice to say about management and many I spoke to hate there jobs . Tony one of the managers was extremely nice and helpful to me, also matt another manager always made me feel welcome and spoke to me often. I'd said the other manager s could learn alot from these 2 . Alot of improvements are needed at this company if only to keep staff longer
Almost all my family works there cause they don’t speak English and there is a lot Scandinavia speakers and the most of them are speaking Russian, Moldavian or Bulgarian and they are friends with the managers that they speak the same language so they taking the easiest jobs they bully people that they don’t speak the same language and nobody is doing anything to help or to fix it. Is there someone that can tell me what you can do in this situation??
Out of 4 bays only 2 working why does it take so long to get unloaded 2-4 hours every time surely management know this but think it’s acceptable for drivers to sit that long,who have other deliveries to make
This place is going downhill since the automated barrier system on arrival, has long as you enter your reference number you will get in even if you are hours early, there is no control since removing the gatehouse, the warehouses are understaffed. Prepare for a wait when you get there.
If you're delivering here be prepared for chaos, no instruction on where to go once you're in, mismanagement at its finest
Very very slow to unload at goods in. Arrived 9.25am. departed 12.15pm. 8 pallet delivery I'm sure its not the fault of the staff there its just that morrisons doesn't employ enough of them.
Health and safety ..Drivers toilet door lock ..constant broke...major bays 54/70..3/4 bays constant out of order..walkways need painting up..and to many shunters whizzing round not a care in world
As always waiting to be uploaded about 1 hour then another hour waiting for paperwork only to be told the qc institution rejected the load.
Work destination visit here every year to clean the food chill departments
First time onsite and what a confusing place, there is a map on the booking in tower that relates to nothing....or maybe I looked at it with my eyes wide shut. It would be great if they had some directional signs, but still a good bunch of people once you get to where you need to be. Perhaps I was just overwhelmed with the size of the place.
