Ordered for the first time and it was good not great. Had a pizza and salad and a pasta dish so we tried a variety of food. Pizza style uses a lot of sauce which is flavorful but a dense crust and bit soggy bite even tho it was freshly hot.
This place is amazing, the Zazza is highly recommended, great taste and delicious dough for the pizza, one of the best Sicilian slices in the area, and they have excellent soup. I have always been highly satisfied every time I’ve eaten here.
I've been on the hunt for a really great Sicilian pizza especially Zazza. My nephew turned me on to Morena. Before I review my purchase, please know my family owned an Italian bakery for 54 years and we made pizza too, so I'm extremely fussy. I tried both the sausage peppers and onions, as well as their Zazza. Both were exceptional. Their Zazza is not shy on garlic, which we love. Their sausage peppers are onions Sicilian style was loaded with flavor and cooked to perfection. The crust had a good crispness to it and the peppers were so fresh and not overly soft like some can be. This is now our go to for a fabulous Sicilian pizza. And I'm going to say it, WAY better than Angelo's in Stoneham, which we find lack flavor. Happy eating!
Different, I got a Sicilian with the chunky tomatoes and garlic....half pepperoni and half meatball and mushroom.. I will try again maybe plain. Then take it from there. I did get 2 other things a shrimp fettachinny It was ok but didnt make me crave it however someone eating a little more healthier then me may love it , I also tried the hippie panini that was pretty good I would get that again.
I've been coming here since I can remember 30+ years; I've moved out of the area, but still treat myself on the rare occasion and it's always so so worth the drive! I love their Greek salads, breadsticks, and oil/ vinegar dressing, they have great chicken noodle soups, Italian subs, and if course the Sicilian pizza ::insert European kissing of fingers:: The staff are FABULOUS, too.

We just ordered pizza here for the first time and it was excellent. Right now they are just doing takeout and some outdoor seating. You can place your order online and the app allows you to add toppings to one side of the pizza which is so cool because I like just cheese and my husband likes toppings. We also ordered a minestrone and a chicken tortellini soup for later. My husband said that he read a sign saying that they make their own dough and soups which is a total plus for us. We definitely recommend and we'll be back!
We did a take out order the other night with high expectations of this longtime restaurant, just on the outshirts of busy wakefield center. My sister ordered stuffed shells, and I had my favorite dish, chicken picatta. Although the portions and price was extremely satisfying, the taste however was lacking! I have never experienced such a bland tasting meal in quite some time,but this one tops the list! Absolutely no lemon taste to this meal,even the capers didn't help. It's prepared in some type of flavorless cream sause, which masks any potential flavor to come through. Yes , it did arrive with mushrooms , however they too were lost in the creamy sauce. And what's this? Peppers in the meal??? Who ever heard of placing peppers in a chicken picata dish! Bland! Bland! Bland! If you buy it,have your lemon wedges and lots of seasonings to bring this meal to life!
