Lovely place to visit on a hot day for ice cream. They've a large selection of ice cream related goods and is priced quite reasonably. Quicker to dine inside when there's a queue outside for the takeaway ice cream cones etc as there's a different till for eating inside. Plus you get much bigger desserts inside! Would definitely recommend and would happily go again tomorrow.
I was pleasently surprised at how charming this place is and it's open 7 days a week. I didn't know how to order, and had a long list. Grace was really busy, and she was so kind and efficient with my order and helped me navigate the system! Our order was bought by May I can't possibly spell her name! who was helpful and smiling. All the staff I had reason to phone after our visit were good. I did expect the ice-creams to be tastier and they were not particularly good value but it did feel special to be here. There is only one toilet.
I cannot fault this ice cream parlour. I ordered waffles and they were massive and so delicious- the coffee was also good. It’s a pretty cafe, with lots of seating, when we came there were lots of seats available, and it’s right by the beach. Definitely recommend coming here.
Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and pretty decor that gives retro 60s vibes. Great place to visit during the summer! Decent selection of ice cream options - the cookies and cream, and strawberry ice creams were lovely. They also serve other desserts like waffles and sundaes, and their coffees with cream are also tasty. The sundaes look fantastic and come in very big glasses, so are suitable for sharing. Highly recommend a visit if you’re looking for desserts in the area!
Fantastic ice cream café that has been in Broadstairs since the 1950s. It has the best selection of sundaes, each with their own individual glass and good strong coffee. The decor has recently been updated but retains a classic '50s charm.
Classic dessert house and it's popular for a reason. There's alot of space inside and regularly cleaned. The music is a bit too loud but really enjoyed the ice cream and milkshake! Tasted really creamy and good quality but the fruit could be a bit fresher.
Nice place with lovely decor. They only have one toilet though so the queues can get quite long. Lovely ice cream sundaes and coffee even if it is a bit expensive.
Beautiful nostalgic Ice Cream parlour, I used to come here in the 60's 70's and the place looks exactly, better paint job of course but the memories come flooding back, the Ice Cream is still up to the famous Morellis' standard and delicious too, defo worth the visit if you're in town.
Been coming here for years now , very few changes, wonderful authentic interior, so 1960s , fantastic ice cream selection and dog friendly too . Helpful staff shame they don’t do a lunch menu.
We had coffee at a table inside and took ice creams away. Both really tasty and served by friendly and efficient staff. Morelli's is a joy to visit. Why not drop in when you visit Broadstairs, you won't be disappointed.
