Took my 3 year old son and his cousins here.. They quite literally had hours of fun running around the activity trail. Best nature reserve I have ever been to with little ones.. The car park cost an absolute fortune but providing the money goes toward maintaining the grounds I was quite happy to pay the price we did. Awesome day out for kids or adults that fancy a bike ride. I recommend this place massively and would definitely go back and take our little one with us again. Brilliant place!

Great day out for the family. Parking looks expensive but is the only cost to enjoy the park. Train ride was great and reasonably priced. Lunch was fresh and local sourced, and again reasonably priced. Good sized cafe area and loads of picnic spots around the park to bring your own. Go Ape as an optional extra fits well in the surroundings. The play trail had lots of things the children could climb on and explore, and the playground had some great equipment. A great day out for all.

An excellent place to get out in the countryside with family or friends. It has a great play trail for children with additional playgrounds near the cafe and a superb cycle track for mountain bikers travelling through different environments of woodland, heathland, bogs, and gravel tracks. A miniature steam railway is another highlight. The park also features a 'Go Ape' tree top adventure experience as well as Segway rides. Moors Valley is very popular and does get very busy, but if you're willing to go off the beaten tracks you will find peace and quiet and fresh air. Parking is quite pricey in season but you do get a lot for your money and if you bring a picnic you won’t need to spend anything more on a full day out.

Do you enjoy nature, trees perhaps ? Oh my sweet mother of Mary are you in for a treat if you dig trees, there are so many trees here you may consider it to be a forest. However there's loads more than trees here, there's paths, things to read and some sort of established human presence that offers services and utilities. Trees are the hero in this story though, and this park is a story about trees. If trees could communicate they would be saying how great Moors valley country park and forest is. Good for the kids. Nature is important

Visited for my daughters birthday! She enjoyed it. It is well looked after with a lot of new features in the play trail which looked amazing! Only downside is the parking is dear and we got lost as there isn't much months way of which direction to go in. Would recommend visiting, is a full fun day out for kids and dogs.
