Lovely place. Lovely service. Fabulous selection of local and fresh meats at great prices.
Been here a few times now, staff have always been friendly and food selection in the cafe is decent, personally I've had the pulled pork butty and a bacon sandwich, both have been very good. Coffee was surprisingly really good too. The farm shop has a good selection of products, the meat counter looks pretty good too. Well worth a visit if in the area. 10/04/23 Just been back and had a bacon sandwich with a flat white, whilst my other half had the beef, mushroom and onion roll, both were very good. Also grabbed a pork and caramelised onion sausage roll and some local honey from the farm shop, the honey is literally just from along the road.from the shop. 11.02.24 Back again. Bacon sandwich still excellent. Coffee still decent.
Great place..plenty parking, play area for the children with an animal petting area. We had lunch there..very nice seating area ..light and airy and very clean. I had the quiche which wasn't home or freshly made. Fresh from the freezer but it was ok. It came with a tiny portion of chutney which was very nice. Chips were extra and so was the salad if you wanted them. Food was a bit on the pricey side but hey ho it is a farm shop. The main shop was great.. fantastic selection on the butchers counter..real meat with provence and quality. We bought chicken breasts locally sourced which we had that evening with a tub of their curry sauce. The chicken was superb..tender, juicy and tasted like chicken used to taste before mass production in Asia flooded the British market. This is the place to get your chicken folks. The young lady who served us in the shop deserves a special mention.. answering our questions with grace and a smile. A credit to Moorhouse farm. Well done young lady. The cafe staff also deserve a mention... friendly, polite and courteous... well done all round. If you haven't visited Moorhouse farm shop yet..well that's your loss. I would highly recommend that you pay this super place a visit..we will most certainly be popping in again for more chicken. Thank you all at Moorhouse farm shop.
Brilliant farm shop. Lots of fresh produce, baked goods and pantry staples aswell as outdoor products like firewood, compost, bird feed etc. The shop is well laid out so plenty of room to move around even when busy. Reasonably priced for homemade goods and local produce. Staff were also friendly and polite.
A fantastic little place. Coffee shop 10 out of 10. Produce first class for meat. Farm shop lovely assortment of Northumberland goods from all over the county. Children catered for with tractors and well thought out play area. There's something to please everyone.
Nice little coffee shop, lots of choice, from sandwiches quiche, sausage rolls, pies, and lots of scrummy looking cakes. I just had a bacon sandwich with three good-sized slices of bacon, very nice!
Great fresh vegetables, frozen items without packaging saving the planet, fresh meat and cleaning products without packaging fill up my own bottle . I recommend a visit to the café for a snack and a cuppa. Special mention to the pulled pork sandwich :.
I had the nicest quiche I have tasted along with a fruit smoothie and all enjoyed in beautiful sunshine.
Coffee shop - first visit. Flat white was unbeatable. Flat and white and phenomenal coffee. Never had better. Anywhere. Hot Turkey/Cranberry/Stuffing sandwich - Good Lord!! Eat it or climb it? Moist turkey in slices about 2cm tall in total. Phenomenal. Loved all of it. Amazing. And less than a tenner all in. Can't wait to go back.
This farm shop and cafe is lovely! The food was delicious and fresh with the biggest bakewell tart I've ever had and its certainly wasn't lacking in quality aswell as quantity Called in to meet up with a friend whilst we were travelling back from Scotland.
