This place is managed by efficient staff and every step of the way for better customer care is well planned. Everyone in the staff treats you like a VIP, no wasting time . approximate time to wait is displayed, so you could roll with it : clear instructions everywhere , green li e to follow from the Old Street tube, and a yellow line on the floor to follow to the Pharmacy, fool proof! The Gents Toilets are immaculately clean. Plenty of spare seats so no standing and waiting. Some other NHS clinks should learn from Moorfields , as we need more MoreFields for NHS. The manager of this eye hospital should be hired to improve other Walk in clinic of other NHS hospitals such as Edgware , where the service is appalling.
I am compelled to express my praise for the exceptional patient experience with the lady I just spoke with in the Appointments Department.nnHer form of engagement with my enquiry was almost polished to perfection, with clear diction and a demeanour that was approachable, friendly, super-efficient, and helpful.nnWhat a genuinely outstanding ambassador for Moorfields , well done!
A big thank you to DR Gordon Hay for his thorough investigation on my right eye with floaters and the gentleman who carried out the eye sight test before seeing Dr Hay. I was very impressed by their professional advice, care and kindness. Dr Hay was one of the best doctors I met. I arrived the A&E at 7:45 but no nurse on duty until 9:00. Once the nurse saw me, the whole process only took 1.5 hrs which was very efficient. Top notch service.
I cannot find words to express how amazing this hospital is. From 1st consultation to the 2 operations, the whole team performed with skill, compassion, efficiency and care. the consultant/surgeon, anaesthetist, theatre team, nurses, porters and admin staff were utterly flawless in the way that they performed
I need to do routine checks there twice a year in Moorfields Eye Hospital clinic 12. While staff feels great and professional but waiting times are ridiculous, for last couple years it has been always around 3 to 5 hours wait for 5minute appointment, and it hasn't changed.nnIt should not be like that! It basically ruins your all day.
