Great wee museum, had a lovely time here. Staff very welcoming and I suggest you ask for the photo tick quiz for the children even if you don't have any! From local history to Egyptian statues!
A small space overflowing with interesting exhibits. Learned so much about the history of Montrose and of its wildlife. Interesting artefacts and displays. Staff are friendly and helpful. A must do in Montrose

Love this little gem of a museum. Free entry, lovely staff, Egypt exhibition on at the moment, wonderful Rae portrait upstairs restored by the BBC and check out the hand polished agates!! Amazing

Always a lovely building to enter, the monumental proportions of the doorway is impressive. We like the ship related artifacts but on this occasion went to see the exhibition of Craig Easton's photography, Fishing women great portraits.
