Called today having injured my ankle, was quickly seen, x-rayed and treated. Professional, polite and efficient service, thanks to all involved. Must retain this service and treatment centre, it’s a great option to standard A&E
Injured my back at the weekend left it a couple of days to see whether it would improve or not but I've been in pain since so decided to go to minor injures at Mexborough. I explained to the receptionist that I had a back injury and was told to sit down ....after a 1.5 hour wait was told we don't deal with back injuries???? Am I missing something should the receptionist not give me a heads up and informed me that they don't deal with back injuries!!!! Absolutely fuming someone need sacking or re-educating
I called today regarding my X-ravnresults, for which I have been waiting for over a month, I politely asked about the results, because my GP informed me that there are no results and I should call the hospital. The receptionist didn't let me get a word in, she was very rude and nervous. I am shocked that the patient is approached in this way, with no respect whatsoever. I hope that this lady will finally find the right person who will report her inappropriate behavior to the appropriate services.
Cut open my hand. Was x rayed, taped together, given tetanus and antibiotics all within 2 hours. All the staff were amazing, except 1 of the receptionist who was a bit sharp and moody. The other, minor injury receptionist, was lovely.
Minor injuries can only deal with limbs and apparently the receptionist isn’t qualified to explain what a torso is! Having waited an hour to see a triage nurse I was sent away. Having hurt my ribs, I asked why, when I booked in and was asked what was wrong, the receptionist couldn’t have saved me sitting there waiting. If the receptionist doesn’t understand what can/can’t be dealt with at this facility then maybe some training is required. Or maybe put a sign up to advise patients?! Absolutely useless.
