What a cool beach! Check the tide times as there’s not much at high tide but at low tide you can follow the cliff round to a sandy bay. The cliffs are amazing, really interesting. The car park honesty box donation is a 15 minute walk away through a nature reserve so you can’t drive any closer, wear comfy shoes as it’s quite a rocky trail. Dogs are welcome.
Great beach a very short drive from Cardiff. Pembroke is incredible - but not exactly a day trip. For an afternoon at the beach Monknash is a solid choice. When the tide is out there is a large sandy beach, and the cliffs make for a spectacular backdrop to your sunbathing!!
Great place for a quiet dog walk. Make sure you check tide times before going! There's a mixture of sand, pebbles and rock. No café or toilets. Dog-friendliness: Great place for dogs.
There are no restrooms at this beach. No cafe or shop facilities. If you go when we have had rain or it is raining make sure you wear suitable footwear as the paths are very muddy and tricky in places.
Very nice beach, not your usual just sand and sea, lots of rocks and some, but still great for kids, rock pools and cliffs to explore. Ours kids loved it
This is a great beach to walk the dog... Park at the farmers car park and walk through the glade along the stream.. You can turn left at the beach and walk to Nash point or right and walk towards Dunraven... But do take note of thd tide times. If you're lucky you might also find a fossil in the rocks
You can do a lovely circular walk starting in Wick heading straight down to the cost then either down onto the beach or along the coast path It’s a lovely walk beautiful scenery.
Good for dogs and fishing and swimming if your brave. Some great wildlife in the rock pools. Best either side of low tide
Fantastic beach that the little dog loved - tricky to get to without getting a bit muddy right now but well worth the little wander down past a picturesque stream. Absolutely stunning sedimentary rocks everywhere and the walls are amazing.
Wear good shoes for the walk there and back. Beautiful views. A lovely beach, perfect for exploring.
