Called at 8.30 on 46 mins on the hold before being told oh no calls left ! Ridiculous it is even trying to explain to the receptionist!!!! that I was very important that I need to talk to the GP even after my nurse at the hospital has told me to call them back again regarding my issue call back at half 8 is all you get ! 2 days in a row this has happend ! Yous are an absolute joke ! Not happy one bit !!!!!!!!!
I didn't have an appointment to have stitches remove but the receptionist went out of her way to see the nurse, who was actually finished for the day at Moira but still removed my stitches, great service all round, thank you
Recently there is a voice message from well before 10am saying there is no appointments left by a doctor who works one day a week in the practice who is also working for a private practice! He then goes on to say contact out hours or a and e which at the moment are looking like a third world country hospitals! On one of his voice messages it said about contacting someone about funding etc. tho doesn’t give figures off how much each gp is paid how much the practice gets a year and how many patients a day each gp is seeing.the practice is empty everytime you go near it. Back in dr Parker dr spence snr and dr Davis days the surgery was constantly busy, people in waiting rooms waiting etc. going by the staffing schedules there very little days that there is three doctors working. These doctors are generally fantastic doctors dr spence jnr dr mckelvey dr d Barr tho what is happening recently who knows ‍ people in the village are afraid to voice their opinions incase they get struck off! Everyone understand that the doctors need a wage too but a doctor working one day telling people to attend out off hours or an and e is this acceptable?
Can only book appointment at 8.30 in the morning . I’ve been Sick a few times near the point of delerium with fever and been up all night and when rang at 9.15 the receptionist is so rude - don’t get me wrong they’re is a few nice understanding receptionists but do they not realise the people they are dealing with are sick and have some empathy ? Every other surgery I deal with due to my work can book appointments all day , seems pure laziness on the admin staff side . I also had a issue which didn’t crop up to 12 on a Friday , explained was in agony and discomfort a antibiotic was all that was required told Rudely again in no uncertain terms missed the appointment booking slot , I actually said I’ve only started symptoms so how could I book a appointment that morning and she basically said hard luck . I had to wait on OOH opening at 6pm didn’t get a call back until 5 hours later and had to drive myself in that state to get the prescription! Not good enough ! Be better back to old system where drop ins where available . The doctors are all fabulous it’s the admin staff who seem to have a issue !!!
Pat would need a crash course on customer service. Never met a more ignorant woman in my life. The power has gone to her head. She doesn't hide the fact she is miserable .
