I have visited Moira Physiotherapy and Sports Clinic for two different problems and I am happy so say that both issues have been completely resolved in a friendly and relaxed but professional manner. I first visited Hilary due to a lower back pain that was possibly due to being in a car accident some years previous, and this was making exercise as well as sitting and sleeping uncomfortable. Hilary put me completely at ease on arrival to the practice and filled me with confidence with her knowledge of the anatomy of the spine. Using some quite advanced technology she restored mobility to my spine over several sessions. After possibly a year or more I returned for a second series of treatments when the back started to stiffen up again. Now, 5 years or more later I can say that that my back pain has not returned and I am extremely happy with the outcome. My second problem was more recent. I slammed my knee hard into the plastic back of the seat in front getting up from a seat on a bus. Unfortunately the bus was also braking and increased the force of my knee hitting the seat. What followed was nothing short of excruciating pain. I visited a knee specialist who told me that I may need to have an operation but to try physiotherapy first. Duncan (again, extremely knowledgeable) treated me this time and worked me through a series of knee exercises to help strengthen the muscles around the knee. The muscles were built up quite quickly and immediately I noticed a big difference. Once again the issue was resolved completely. I would recommend Moira Physiotherapy to anyone as the expertise shown and care received is second to none. Brian Wilson
