Bought supposedly large cod and chips the cod looks more like a medium but was thick and nice to eat and approximately 30 chips that where hard and just warm and a drink just over £12 wow very expensive for what you get in my opinion not really worth the moneyFood: 4/5
Ordered some food in the restaurant to takeaway and got more food than asked for and over charged, when we phoned up they said that there is nothing that they can do as that is what we ordered but didn’t offer a refund, there is only 2 of us so why would we ordered 3 bits of cod that was £7.90 each. Full order came to almost £35 for 2 people, when we ordered 1 cod, 2 fish cakes, 2 large chips and a pot of curry sauce which should have come to £21. The food was nice although we won’t be returning there any time soon.

Trying to be upmarket? I've visited here several times over the last couple of years, the fish and chips have always been good and the prices sensible. However last time I visited the prices had nearly doubled, almost £11 for fish and chips, total rip off, a long wait, and the food was nothing outstanding. It seems to have turned into some kind of fish-boutique now, won't visit again.
Been going here for some time now as the food is good. Although the past few times the prices consistently keep rising to the extent that it’s radicalise. Nearly £11 for fish and chips. Complete rip off. Won’t be going here again until the prices come down. Cost £7:20 a year and a half ago.
Nice place to eat , you can also get takeaway. Sensible priced decent quality chippy. Recommended
Delicious food. Myself and my partner had a burger and fish and chips. The food was delicious. Staff friendly and polite. Would highly recommend. Dropped in when looking for somewhere to have lunch and pubs were full. So happy we did. Much better than a pub lunch.
Always come to this chippy when I get the munchies after a day of hard partying. The service, food and general ambiance is 1st class. The chips are outstanding, a bloody lovely curry sauce and the fishcakes actually have fish in them instead of all mashed potatoes. If you're in Stamford and the hunger pangs get your belly rumbling, call in because you won't be disappointed
Fish and chips were lovely but my daughter got hers before us and was automatically charged for large chips , I asked for regular chips and there was no difference between my portion and hers . So I would advise ask for regular chips if you don't want to be charged large chips price for same size portion !!Food: 5/5
Just popped in before I went to the theatre. Amazing chips, not greasy at all. So nice, good choice on the menuFood: 5/5
