We have used Pete on a number of occasions in the last 18 months, most notably on the total removal of our oil-based heating system and installation of large gas boiler and new radiators/pipework throughout. From initial introduction to completion, Moatside were fantastic, transparent on cost and timescales and always available for advice no matter the time. I would highly recommend Pete and his team to anyone needing any heating or plumbing works done. Sometimes when you relocate to a new area and have no trusted contacts it can be difficult to find a new supplier, luckily Pete has removed those worries about my heating and plumbing and I genuinely would not use anyone else now.
I can highly recommend Moatside Plumbing & Heating, they installed our property will a full underfloor heating and hot water system running on oil, no issues, no mess and stuck to the agreed installation date and timings. They also do our yearly servicing, 5* outfit, reliable, very clean and tidy. well done Pete and Guys keep up the good work.
Moatside was recommended to us several years ago, and we keep going back, from boiler and central heating replacement, boiler service, gas safety checks, fixing leaks and moving pipework and drainage pipes. Time and time again we have entrusted the work to Moatside. Once you find a good plumber, you don't want to let him go. Pete and his team are cheerful, professional and great at what they do. Their workmanship is tip top and they take great pride in their work. We would also happily have Pete and his team as our cleaners, as they clean up behind themselves and you can barely tell they have been. A real bonus with workmen. Aside from a completed job, the empty tea cups and cake crumbs are the only evidence. Totally worthy of five stars.
Moatside Plumbing & Heating LTD have carried out numerous jobs for us. We had a radiator that had not worked for 14 years, John worked methodically to cause the least disruption and solved the mystery that had been looked at by 4 other plumbers and remained unsolved. Pete has carried out annual boiler checks, gas safety checks, landlord safety checks, various plumbing tasks washers on taps, replacing old taps for new taps and installed an oil boiler in one property and a gas central heating boiler in another property. The install of the oil boiler included taking out old tanks and piping through a 4 bedroom house and updating with new piping. We would have no hesitation in recommending Pete and John at Moatside Plumbing & Heating LTD.
We have no hesitation in recommending Pete and his team for any plumbing or heating jobs in the home. Reasonably priced, always arrive as arranged, and always explain what needs doing. In this day and age of struggling to get a tradesman through the door, it's very comforting to know that Moatside can be relied upon.
We have used Pete and his team for several years to service our boiler and gas fire. He also supplied and installed our new boiler in 2017 which we are very happy with. Pete and John are honest, professional and reliable. When we've had an emergency, they have came out the same day.
