We never have a bad meal here. Been eating here for over ten years. Staff are so nice and the food is always and quick.Food: 5/5
Updating to 5* after second visit : Ordered Gyoza which obviously was our favorite first time, then the Singapore vermicelli, spare ribs & chicken noodles from kids menu. Good food and quick service in a small beautiful setting! We walked in on a Thursday afternoon with just 10-12min before the last order, and were the only ones in the restaurant. Looked like we weren't welcomed Ordered Chicken Satay, Prawn Curry and chilli chicken Ramen. Got chicken fried Gyoza instead of chicken satay, think there was some confusion. But the Gyoza turned out to be the best dish for us, crunchy with delicious and flavorful stuffing. Chilli chicken ramen was good too, but prawn Curry was bit of a disappointment. Curry was bit overpowered, my Indian taste buds didn't quite like it.
Mizu noodle bar has a bit of a lack lustre decor but everything else about my experience eating there was fab. The food was excellent and served quickly and the staff were friendly and attentive. #asianfood #ipswich #suffolk #restaurant
We had a pre-cinema meal at Mizu a couple of weeks ago because we knew it would be speedy, and most importantly the food wouldn’t let us down. The Pad Thai was as good as ever, and my wife loved the roast pork rice, one of her favourites. We also had Thai crackers on the side and couldn’t resist some char siu buns, which were new to the menu since our last visit. Everything was delicious, generously portioned and served quickly, as we have come to expect. Mizu is just consistently excellent.
Only way to review this restaurant is to say it was awful. I'm really not saying that easily either. I've been here many times in the past. The food was always tasty & fresh. I'm not too sure if there's new owners. But I would never go back here. My drink was flat & tasted awful. I ordered mixed meat with rice. It came out within a few minutes. This should have told me everything. The meat was luke warm just!!!! I spoke to the waiter who had already changed my drink. I explained I'd like to have a fresh meal & the meat cooked fresh too. It was brought back out. At least the meat was a little hotter. But there was something not right with the meat. The only way I can describe it is is that it tasted like old meat. It really was unpleasant. I didn't want to complain again, I didn't finish my meal. I ate a few hours ago & have a horrible taste in my mouth. I really hope I don't get ill. Definitely won't be going back ever.
Been here many times, normally great tucker. Menu has changed slightly & some previous dishes now unavailable.. could be cost prohibitive I guess.. anyway I would recommend still but my latest visit was not upto the usual expectations. I'll try again though.. Happy days Food: 3/5
We've been regular to Mizu over the years. Never disappointed, good size portions and always tasty. A consistent favourite is the Curry Mee soup noodles but can't fault any other dishes eitherFood: 5/5
Wouldn’t recommend, I don’t normally write reviews but I feel I need to this time, My family decided to order takeout for collection , I ordered Tom Yum Vermicelli, a type of spicy seafood soup, appearances looked delightful, but I soon learnt it was anything but, tasteless, Extremely disappointed. I also ordered a child’s chicken noodle ramen for my daughter, the chicken was extremely salty and nearly inedible, for my other daughter I ordered chicken noodles, no chicken found it was just a container full of noodles and the prawn crackers were stale and way past their best. Wouldn’t use this place again.
This was one of my favourite restaurants however the quality of food is not what it was. Seems they are buying cheaper ingredients to keep the costs down. Hopefully they will address this and get back on track.
Having recently had a meal at the Brentwood restaurant, we thought we would have a takeaway from Ipswich. On the plus side delivery was on time, and portion sizes were good, but the chicken, especially in the black bean and rice dish seemed synthetic, and I couldn’t eat it. The vegetarian dish was not eaten either, as apparently ‘too ginger’. There were 9 of us and nobody really enjoyed the meal unfortunately.
