"Our menu is made up of tasty Italian dishes from pizza, pasta and risotto to salads and indulgent desserts but always with a twist – like a classic Carbonara with a chorizo crumb or a traditional garlic bread with mozzarella & ‘Nduja sausage. We strive to bring out our customer’s inner foodies by constantly innovating our menu and adding delicious & exciting ingredients like vegan jackfruit pepperoni, wild boar meatballs and ‘Nduja sausage to name a few. Whether you’re a meat-eater, veggie, vegan or gluten-free we have a dish to suit all tastes & requirements."
Pleasant decoration with nice rustic looking tables. Very nice long thin pizza cooked in a wood fire oven which exactly what you want from any Italian eatery! Not many Italians working there though which is a bit of a shame. The menu is nice but not entirely traditional to Italy. The staff are friendly and accommodating but a bit short on hearing or memory as they didn’t give us a side we ordered. It’s a little bit of a walk up the stairs to the toilets, but not really an issue. Pleasant decoration with nice rustic looking tables. Can’t really fault it to be honest. 4/5
Lovely get together with the family. 1st time in Zizzi. Great place to meet up- nice surroundings. Staff very helpful. All enjoyed our meal xxFood: 5/5
Popped in for a quick dinner. Staff were lovely, and service was fast. The chicken risotto and the Sofia pizza were both enjoyed. The pina colada sundae was absolutely delicious and I would definitely have it again.
The best Italian food I have had outside of Italy! Lots of options for vegans and vegetarians. Swanky ambience, good music, pleasant waiters. The photos on Google seem to be old ones and don’t reflect the stylish zizzi present at this location at the moment.
My friend and I walked past the restaurant and then decided to go back there. I only got sweet potato fries and the vegan meatballs, but they were amazing. I loved the atmosphere and the lady who served us was the sweetest.
I didn’t like that speedy order doesn’t work. Pasta crisps on the house were very nice. Pasta we ordered was AMAZING. Pizza was dry. Friendly staff. Would go again and order pasta this time.
Very nice informal Italian-like restaurant. I've tried the casarecce delle casa and a sharing starter, both were tasty and well presented. Waiters do also ask if you want to add parmigiano on the pasta, really appreciate that. For sure you can't expect an authentic Italian experience but is actually better than many real Italian restaurants here in Edinburgh! In terms of service, the staff was nice and friendly and you can choose to either order and pay using your mobile phone webapp, no need to download an app or with a waiter. The loyalty program is nice too. The price was okay, the average for a restaurant in Edinburgh. Recommended for a nice dinner with friends! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian lasagna
Must visit !!!! Not only is the food great but also the male server was so friendly, had a great sense of humor and very very courteous!!! Zizzi is lucky to have you !!! Very surely visit again !!!
I was shocked to find most restaurants are licensed as a pub in Edinburgh and they don’t serve kids after 8! Zizzi wasn’t our first option but we were fed- pizza was very good.
I had heard great things before going but even those expectations were exceeded. Went for a meal with colleagues and we were very well looked after. Janis was our server and was fantastic. He made us feel extremely welcome and had impeccable service. All of the food was delicious but the pizza was especially good. I couldn't recommend enough, especially if you like Italian food. I will definitely be going back!
