They really need to sort out the air con in here, it's ridiculously hot and stuffy all the time and that's not even on a hot day. Makes it uncomfortable to even sit and read. I left with a headache. If it wasn't for this, people may actually spend more time in there.
There is not a quiet place to study. You have to share desk with tutors and students. There is a children play area just next to the shared study space. The worst part is the smell of disgustingly unshowered people. I couldn’t focus on my task because of the smell. Had to go home. Need to find another library :
I went in Mitcham Library today to use a computer to access their Internet, which is handy. Read some news items on some websites then went back home.
Monday to Saturday, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and Monday to Friday, from 7 to 8 p.m. access only for Library Card Holders! From 23 November 2023 new opening times: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Great. Love the books there. but when you’re trying to study, all you can hear is screaming children most of the time. And there should be more tables to sit down for the people to study
A great library for all ages! Nice decorations for young children to read, play, study in one section as well as computers and study tables for the older section. It's a clean place, wheelchair entrance, tutor rooms and last I checked before pandemic it had a bathroom!
Small but Fantastic. Connected to a Merton Libraries which is top class. Staff are lovley and super helpful. And it has a car park! wow
Visited the library today. Met a gentleman called Curtis, very helpful and polite. This man is so good at his job and kept his calm, even when he was assisting someone and another person was trying to distract him and trying to pull him away from helping the person to help her. Great experience, lovely building.
Staff are super helpful I am stuck in a dilema, where the books I borrowed for my children are in storage and I cannot get them. Staff were very helpful and understanding and were able to renew the books for me. Until I am able to gain access to my storage unit. Thank you very much
