I really didn't know fish n chips could be this good! I've been there on occasion over the last 10 years or more and knew it was good but this time stopped for a haddock and chips and it was absolutely fantastic! The batter was beautifully crisp and melted in the mouth and the fish had a real succulent texture and delicious flavour! I can honestly say it's the best fish and chips I've ever had!
Used to like going here. Won't be going back after today. Chips were old and reheated, guy also wouldn't let me order a small scampi, only a medium. Hate to leave a poor rating for an independent, but nasty food and poor business practices does not impress me.
Really nice would definitely recommend it. I have been coming hear for a few years and have never been unsatisfied. A brilliant place to eat with very nice people and excellent customer service. The food is excellent.
We ordered some chips and my daughter had to throw them away as they were hard and dry and disgusting . Basically refried yuk The worse chips we have ever had in our life’s . Disgusting.
