Outstanding and professional. I can't fault them. I had a fault with the lights and electrics in my Mini which was not easily detected. The guys at Mini Manchester worked so hard on finding the fault and sorted it. I bought the car from them and the aftercare is fantastic
Amazing garage! Meticulously go through every working component of the car with you before you drive away. Despite the car being 18 years old it looked good as new! Even under the bonnet was completely spotless. You can tell they love Mini's, and I couldn't recommend this place highly enough! Thank you!
Only went to look! Just bought this little beauty - I've wanted a Cooper S for too many years. Really pleased with it. Buying from Mini Independent was a truly excellent experience. Steve was extremely friendly and helpful. He let me have a couple of test drives, even though I didn't tell them we were coming. I wanted to drive it away that day, but he insisted that it had to have a new MOT - not one that expires in six months, and an oil service. Whilst they were at it, they put two new tyres on as well. I can't fault the level of service these people give you. I'd like to say I'll be back, but I don't see me parting with this for a while...... :-
After seeing other mini coopers in the area and was less than impressed, I decided to check out this place and I was very impressed. I ended up choosing a red Mini Cooper, was in mint condition for an 07 plate, part of the deal Steve stuck on mini stripes and for a small fee installed half leather seats to the interior and also red trim. Whilst waiting for a call to pick up the vehicle Steve called to explain a diagnostic issue that keeps coming up regarding a timing Fault and at great cost to the garage they put a completely new timing kit onto the car at no additional cost to myself. This shows how much they care for customers and I was hugely impressed by the service I received. 12 month MOT, major service, new timing chain, great looking car, full service history, And a great looking car, I couldn’t ask for more, if you want a mini this is the place to come!
I bought a mini cooper S from this dealer on Friday the 11th of June 2021. On the Monday I had discovered that it was not safe with split CV boot, lose engine mounting, seizing breaks. I have chased mini independent asking for them to collect the car and abide by trade laws. They have refused to collect the car and now refusing to speak to me. The car was collected with a clean MOT that they had just arranged yet I can't see how it has one at all. They lied, refuse to obay laws and endangered my life with a non roadworthy car. Avoid! Edit 10/07-21 - First I would like to say it does not matter where I work, the car should be in a fit state, secondly I do NOT work in the motor trade, thirdly I have not worked on a car in many years, I don't even service my own car, I take it to a garage. The car was for sale as you told me about the car over the phone when I asked about stock, you had sold the car a few times as you have said. You have offered to accept the car back for a full refund but did not when I returned back, just said it needed a recharge which was not the issue, but was one of many issues with the car. I did not touch the car after getting an independent report on the condition of the car. I suspect the bolt was loosened when the garage you used did the work on the car and it was noticed on the pre delivery inspection. You now have the car back and my money, it seems the ownership change has not taken place so I won't be able to give you the V5 and you can apply for another. Which you will need to do anyway as I can't see that you have sent off the paperwork. Now it's end of discussion once you have refunded me. Edit 13-07-21 Thanks for the majority of the refund but I still require the deposit back too, tried to call but no answer.
So happy with my Mini it’s absolutely perfect, totally spotless and runs like a dream! There was no pushy sales pitch, nothing at all like the usual car showroom nightmare. The whole experience was so easy and relaxed. I would highly recommend a visit if you are considering a Mini or even just a new small car as I was I was totally blown away by the knowledge the team had and nothing was too much trouble.
This is a very good dealership the staff are helpful, the cars are nice and affordable, I would recommend this place to anyone.
Absolutely superb service from Steve and team at Mini Independent. My first Mini Cooper, it's Amazing!! I'm converted. The whole experience start to finish was positive. No pressure sales, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. One hundred percent will come here again for my next Mini! Thanks Steve and Co.
Amazing place to buy a car! I bought a mini from here as my first car a few months ago and am so happy I came to this place! It's such a friendly shop and both guys seem so caring towards their customers, they don't try to sell you anything they simply tell you what you want to know and help with any enquiries or requests. I ended up falling in love with a car they had just got in and they said they would get it looking brand-new again for when I was to pick it up, which it was! I can't fault the place Steve and the mechanic I can't remember his name unfortunetly were amazing and I can't thank them enough for everything, they explained all the car and its features to me and when I went for the test drive took me to a quieter area as I was very nervous.
I live a long way away from this dealership and paid £400 for it to be delivered, I'd seen videos and was happy with the body work, it came with an MOT and a service, so I thought what can go wrong? The key came not working, I thought no worries as I can get a new battery. When the car was dropped of the guy had trouble started the car and acted confused. This kept happening!! Struggling to start but eventually starting anyway. I change the battery in the car and when doing so had found the the original battery had be plonked on a bit of chip board?? The problem persisted... I got told it was a key issue and bought a new key and the problem persisted.... Mini garage told me it was a coil pack... the problem persisted... After looking in to car further it had a problem with the imbolitzier, someone had tried to fix it but it but was a bodged job and made the car have further issues. It appears that Mini independent either didn't do the appropriate checks to ensure the car was in working condition or it was infact them that knew the issue was there, tried to fix the problem and bodged it, only for it not to be fixed correctly and cause more issues. Mini independent should have ensured the key was in working condition, this would have then showed them it was more than a key issue, but even still, if they had done a diagnosis the issue, with ring connector, imbolitzier and key would have showed. Oh what else will a find wrong with this car I wonder... Edit to reply: I did buy a new key, it didn't work, this is also the 5th key for this car before coming to me, so it is not over 20 years old. I did contact you guys, and you told me it was the coil pack and DEFINITELY not the immobiliser, leading me to spend more money only to realise it is the immobiliser, you were not very helpful and quite miserable on the phone when I discussed this and felt I couldn't keep asking more questions. And you also said there's nothing you can do. There shouldn't be an issue for ordering a car 300 miles away when the car was promised to be in good working use and came with a warranty that doesn't actually cover much at all Why was the car not diagnosed? Codes appear with the issues, and they weren't fixed. Why wasn't the key battery replaced? This would have led you to realise it wasn't the key. Why was there a plank of wood in the engine unnoticed? It's taken me this long to read a review as I've only just found the issue after months of looking into it! Also.... you're telling me to take it for a long drive... was 300 miles delivery, not a long enough drive for the car to charge??
