Haven't been to Ming Moon for years but we had a lovely night. The food was lovely. Lots of choice and it was all hot and tasty. The decor was really nice and it had all been done out since I'd last been. Will definitely be back soon.
Buffet style Chinese restaurant. All you can eat. You can park your car on the car park next to the restaurant. Don’t forget to validate your reg number at the restaurant to get free parking.
Not been here for a while so tried it again, if I'm honest for a buffet restaurant it's not bad, loads of choice, drinks ok too. My only moan was some seating areas are tight but I asked to move which wasn't an issue and some chairs are ripped so maybe sort these slight issues and it would be even better, plus they still have children going up and picking things up with there hands and putting them back. I know its not restaurants fault but the parents but please try to control this better
Possibly the worst buffet experience I have had.. I just want to state that this does no reflect the other Ming moon restaurants as I can attest to the high quality of the food and service provided. So firstly my partner booked the restaurant days in advance informing them that we have a special needs child... when we arrived we got seated in an area surrounded by loud families with children running around, knocking into you as you returned to your table... we were also sat next to a broom and a waste bin, let me just say that there is nothing more apetitising than smelling other peoples food waste and being greeted by the scraping and banging of peoples food waste as it is disposed off... so if you want to spend full price for all of the above.. well ming moon wolverhampton can provide the service . My partner tried to approach the manager who pretty much disregarded our complaint only to just move the bin.. and I have tried contacting them via email to no success. Over all the service and customer service is disgusting and no matter how nice the food is... the service leaves it tasting as bad as your experience.
First time at this Ming Moon. We've been to the Birmingham one, which was OK. This was lacking a little. The carpets were sticky obviously from spilt food and drink, and the seats were in really bad repair where they used gaffa tape to hide the holes. Selction of food was good but again not as vast as the Birmingham restaurant. Strange one was they do candy floss as one of the deserts, very strange.. price was about average for that kind of establishment. We did see rats scurrying around outside, but I guess that's likely by most eateries, so I can't really hold that against them. It was a bit quiet when we went so the atmosphere was a bit dull. I'm not sure if this is anything to do with the food or hygiene standards, which were quite good to be fair, but when we got home, we were both on the toilet for a considerable time. Again, this could be a coincidence.
Fancy interiors, lovely atmosphere, delicious food, car park is free, we had fantastic day out Kid-friendliness: I saw a kids department with pizza, mozzarella dippers and fries
Terrible expensive last night. We have been regularly to your restaurant and always enjoyed until now. We visited last night at 7pm for a table for eight, the majority of the food trays were near empty for at least thirty minutes. Our empty plates were not collected from our tables so we carried them to the cleaning stations ourselves. Before 830 we were informed the bar was closing then soon after we were asked if we wanted anymore desserts as this was also closing. This altogether made the experience feel rushed and like they just wanted us to leave the restaurant which is what we did spoiling the experience for our birthday celebration. I do not feel like we will want to be returning again.
Been here a few times, great place if you want a buffet with a wide variety of different foods. Always really nice and fresh. Good service and friendly waiters. Will visit again.Food: 5/5
Been many times but the buffet was not good last time we went. Many of the trays were empty and staff not interested in replenishing. Four of us wedged on a tiny table despite plenty of more suitable tables available. Told they were closing 40 mins before advertised hours for Friday evening.Food: 2/5
It was awful more vegetables than meat and very sloppy not an awful lot of choice mainly chicken one of the reasons we went in the evening was that it was our Wedding Anniversary and we were celebrating I was looking forward to more crustacean fish like prawns and the like I was also charged for a simple bottle of Rose zinfandel 5 pounds 99p in the shops I was charged nearly 30 pounds I know about inflation but that was rediculous they have really spoiled it for me. The one good thing was the sweets absolutely lovely choice I couldn't believe it the choice was endless seems they concentrate on sweets not the mains It in
