My daughter had a chesty cough which appeared to be getting worse. I was advised by 111 to get her seen and as we werenon holiday, I took her to the Minehead minor injuries unit.nnWe were the first there and we were seem practically straight away. The chap was very good with my toddler and I was pleased with the way he thoroughly checked her vitals etc. We were given privacy in the room to get her dressed again and then we left.nnThe hospital was very, light, clean and tidy. It had a small children's play corner but we didn't use this as we were called in very quickly after arriving.
Thank you to paramedic nurse who assessed and treated me this afternoon. Excellent service thank you

We're staying at butlins and live 200 miles away in London. My son became very unwell with croup and we needed to see a GP fast to get steroids. We spoke to 111 who sent us here to the minor injuries unit. Main reception staff were lovely, as was the receptionist on the desk at minor injuries. Both the student nurse and the senior nurse practitioner were so kind and I felt listened to which isn't always the case. They were reassuring and very friendly to my son to try and cheer him up. Sent on our way with medication and advice for if he gets worse with directions for the nearest A&E if needed during the night. In and out within half an hour, absolutely amazing service with amazing staff. The hospital was easy to find, free parking with tonnes of spaces, clean and welcoming. Thank you so much!
Go there for help and my therapist suddenly started calling me passive aggressive and went on to say when I questioned something else about a doctor I had seen at Barnfeild , the therapist replied harshly that not doctor was not a mind reader? Letters are never sent and any follow up decisions phone calls never happen. The therapist also replied to something I mentioned about my late husband..she said “well he was odd”. Very upsetting, especially as she had never met him.
