Having ordered a Haddock and chips, and waited for it to be cooked. When my order was called and corrected by myself the two shop girls couldn’t stop giggling. My fish and chips was cod. They’d obviously from there giggly laughing given the haddock  to the customer ahead of me . Serving me fish cod? Hake ? Tallipa?  The Cod/hake/ talipa was cooked well but being laughed at as a customer means I shall not be returning. OwnersnGet decent staff  not giggling schoolgirls…

I'm not sure what's happened to the place but the portion sizes have reduced massively, whilst the prices have gone through the roof.n6 years ago my Dad and me had to share one portion of chips because the portion was so big.nTonight I was charges £17.20 for haddock & chips with mushy peas and chips with curry sauce.n£17.20 !nI even asked for the curry sauce separately  and was charged 50p extra for this.nWhat's going on?n£17.20?nShockingly expensive.nHaddock was nice.nMore shocking when we got home and found out how many chips we had been given.nWell be using g Queens Cafe next door from now on.

I went to Minchella's on Sunday afternoon and ordered cod and chips. For £10.70 it was a joke for the amount of chips I got.... Think you need to review your portion sizes ASAP as will definitely be taking my custom elsewhere from now on.

Been here several times but most recently I got a cod and chips for £10.70. The portion of chips was less than 20 twenty lukewarm chips. The fish was cooked fresh but the batter was bland. Extremely disappointing quality.
