We had such a wonderful time at the museum today, it far exceeded our expectation, what made the experience extra special were of course the staff/volunteers, they were passionate, enthusiastic, helpful, and scored 10/10 for customer service! Every detail was tended to with care and attention, and I thoroughly recommend a visit to the cafe, the staff were so welcoming and kind, the food they prepared was delicious. Thank you to all of you for sharing your impressive knowledge, your hospitality and kindness. Lots to see for young and not so young, and a fabulous time spend finding out about this unique place and its wonderful people, we will be back!
A charming museum full of local character and rich historical atmosphere. Housed in old brick buildings and warehouses, it features several themed exhibition areas showcasing British industry, communication, transportation, and daily life, perfect for anyone interested in modern British lifestyles.nnWhat makes it special is that many exhibits are interactive, letting you experience how things were actually used in the past. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, often dressed in period costumes to demonstrate and explain the exhibits. It’s a wonderful place to explore local history and see how Britain transitioned from an agricultural to an industrial society. Highly recommended!
This museum is an absolute gem! It's incredibly interactive, making it perfect for families. We had such a blast that we couldn't fit everything into one visit. We're already planning our next trip back! The kids will adore it.
Milton Keynes Museum is such a wonderful place for children and adults alike.nnWe’ve taken our three little ones here almost weekly upon their request!, and they love every minute of it.nnSuch a wide variety of exhibits and interactive displays and activities would be enough for most, but when you couple this with the outstanding volunteers that work here week round, it’s hard not to come back!nnHuge thank you to all the wonderful volunteers for bringing the exhibits to life and for being so kind and attentive in the tea room!nnWe cannot recommend the Milton Keynes Museum enough
Fantastic few hours to discover local stories. Run by excellent volunteers and full of interactive experiences. Visited at Christmas for the Victorian theme.
