In recent years the MK Council here have done many changes to speed up service. Best to get an appointment where possible and so far not been delayed by too much.

We have applied for handrail about 6 months ago for my husband to get to our house door as there is a slope to the door and hard for him to manage. He has had a knee replacement and will not be able to cope on his return from hospital. I was told by Council to get a wheelchair to push him up this slope. My husband is a 14 stone man. I said I don't think I can cope pushing his weight up a slope I am 72 years old and not that strong to push wheelchair up a slope. She told me to get family to help who live 7 miles away. Very practical advice I don't think. They are a joke. So I have to ring family every time we want to get into our bungalow. from hospital.

The best council for pothole repairs in the country. I reported 2 large and deep potholes on Childs way on the Friday and by the Monday they had been completely repaired. I wish all the other councils in the country would be the same. Northamptonshire takes 4 months if at all to respond.

Complete and utter bunch of incompetant goon's is very polite. The new goon Sharkey doesn't look like the brightest spark :)
