This is a fairly small branch so lacks some stock. Staff are also not as friendly as they are in other branches. They do not seem as knowledgeable about the products they're selling, and less willing to offer advice which is fine if you know exactly what you want but not so great if you're looking for a bit of guidance.
Good all round range. Fairly small, so lacks some of the more specialist stuff, but has all the things you need for Duke of Edinburgh and Scouting expeditions. Most of my everyday kit comes from here.
Bought a pair of Peter Storm wellington boots for £25 and within 6months the seam had split and they were no longer usable. Took them back and was told I had to clean them and send them back to the manufacturer. Absolutely hopeless service. Found Milletts website and emailed them and was told the same thing and sent an address label to send them back with an assurance that I would be informed within 2 weeks if I was entitled to a refund. Over a month now and I'm still waiting for them to contact me! It is now 24th July and my boots were sent back in May. I have sent them copies of my sales receipt and my shipping notice - I think they've lost them!! On 24th August having heard nothing I sent a further email threatening further action. Surprise, surprise they came back and said the goods were faulty and I was entitled to a full refund. I had to phone them with my card details and after two calls the first one was handled by a girl who after five minutes on the line still didn't know what I was talking about my money was refunded. I truly believe they hoped I wouldn't keep pestering.
Wide range of outdoor clothing and equipment, customer service is excellent and always happy to help. Products are usually high quality and I have been happy with the purchases I have made from them.
There was a very good range of products and I had no problem with finding a very good pair of walking boots and the staff were very helpful and friendly
Great service. Good stock.Friendly staff. Offered extra 15%discount without being asked.
Always easy-going guys/gals offering to help but never pushy. Also, when they do promos, their prices are very good.
