What absolutely appalling customer service. I ordered Berghaus boots and matching coat for my wife. The boots arrived, no sign of the coat. Clicked on the "track my order" on the website, nothing. I got through to customer service web chat and they eventually said "oh yes, we didn't have any stock so we cancelled the order. Your refund will be with you in 5 days". As they hadn't bothered to tell me this earlier and I have already waited a week, I find this approach disgraceful.
Appalling customer service: DO NOT USE MILLETS!!! I placed an order on the 4th of August. After waiting a week, I checked on the order on the 11th of August and was told it was still being processed. I explained that I was going camping on the 22nd and the person said this was still quite a way away and I should phone back if I still hasn't received the items in a few days. After another week, I phoned to check again, I was told the order was still being processed. I questioned this, and said it was strange given I placed the order two weeks ago. She then went to check with her manager. When she returned, she said it hadn't been processed correctly and they would need to contact their IT team to sort it out. I agreed to this, however, I thought I'd better check everything was in stock and asked them to do so. Lucky I did, as after being put on hold again, the person came back to say that the items were no longer in stock.
I challenged them to fit my orthotic insert to a shoe that's going to make it possible for me to actually walk. They were successful and now I walk with no pain. Fantastic as I am partially sighted, so walking upright is vital.Well here I am again, another challenge to re-size my shoes and wow, first pair out were amazing and absolutely the right ones. Strong and yet they are so light.
Purchase a pair of walking boots from the Andover store. Staff were very helpful in assisting me in deciding what pair would suit my needs. Staff member 2/3 Charlie recommended the Merrell MOAB 2 LTR MID GTX for my requirements. The boots were a perfect fit and were still comfortable after a long hike especially over rough ground. I'm very pleased with my purchase and the politeness, knowledge and the service provided by the Andover staff. I will recommend Millets and will continue to visit the Andover store.
Great store with very helpful friendly staff. We travel here as we lost our millets some years ago. Always good place to find a great deal
Went down the shop afterwork yesterday 21/11/22 at 4:30 to find the store closed, although Internet listed open until 6 and said on door open until 5:30, was not happy with this at all, complete waste of time and money so will order online off one of your competitors instead
Shop is well stocked for hiking, camping equipment. Best to wait for a sale for better prices which happens every few weeks. Staff seem keen and well informed
