Is a shame to see this store go but not for long as its a national thing with many if not all Millets stores turning into GoOutdoors stores. So you will still be able to get your outdoor supplies. The staff are more than than helpful, going above and beyond to help the customers, offering advice and tips and very knowledgeable about the products they sell. This changeover isn't until the end of January 2023, so time to visit the store and take advantage of the discounts available. Go Outdoors is also a great store and believe this is going to be what's called an express store, so quite excited to see what's going to be available once the changes happen.
I purchased some walking boots... And the young man who served me was very helpful..... 5 star..... But the other Employees were in dissaray... No one could operate the till.. And the other one had disappeared.. Plus the boots on display outside were not upstairs.. You were expected to bring them up yourself.. This is of course if you possess psychic powers.
Shopping for some new walking boots I went to Millets Burton on Trent. I wasn’t sure W hat type I wanted something that would last and definitely waterproof. I was in the shop looking at boots when another customer arrived, we were both looking for the same type of reliable boot. The shop assistant Patrick, really looked after us, he knew his stuff about walking boots the whole experience was much better than shopping on the internet, his expertise helped us both to buy what we wanted, two very satisfied customers. Thank you Patrick.
Shop stock seemed okay looking for walking trousers, there were some good options. Unfortunately assistants seemed more interested in their conversation than customer, I didn't purchase and left.
Patrick at Millets Burton on Trent gave excellent customer service and was able to give good advice on their range of walking boots which led to my purchase! Would recommend and go back in the future.
Products are good but prices are poor value. £17.50 for a T shirt in a closing down sale.
Great store to shop to visit went in to have a look at the products had a sale's on and went back again staff are very helpful
