My partner have been to miller and carter a handful of times in our relationship as it is pretty pricey so we keep it for special occasions. That being said, the food is always lovely and the steaks are cooked exactly as you want them to be. All staff members we have been served by are lovely and friendly, and the food comes out fast and hot. We mentioned that it was our anniversary and they sent out a cute little memo with our shared desert. Super cute!
As you can tell, it's the kind of food you want to take a photo of. Emily was ace and had the right balance of friendly and helpful. The starters we had of garlic prawns and buffalo wings were ace. The fish main course was disappointing. It was cooked fine but tasted old. Burger was good. 16oz rib eye steak was amazing. That 'wedge' side thing they do with the steak was left - didn't really get the point. Decent size portion. Not cheap but a nice treat. The floor plan of the place is massive but laid out cleverly so it didn't feel that way when sat down. Fri eve was fully booked, but Service prompt. We'll recommend.
The food was amazing! Steaks cooked to perfection, absolutely brilliant service! Our waitress was Lisa in the Colchester store and she was so lovely and welcoming! Dessert said happy birthday on it without having to ask for that to be done so that was a nice surprise. Couldn’t have asked for better! Absolutely amazing experience for a birthday celebration.
What an amazing evening out! Good food, lovely wine, excellent service. Everything was delicious, our waiter was friendly and professional, food arrived promptly, perfectly cooked steak, delicious fish!nWish the restaurant have stricker policy on dress code, so many people treating it as a pub and coming in trainers/sportswear.nNice experience anyway, will be back soon definitely
Went for dinner tonight for my birthday with my fiancé and had such an amazing experience. Our server Charlotte was amazing and deserves a raise so friendly and super helpful. Shes a credit to your restaurant. Was given a lovely plate of goodies for my birthday too. Food was absolutely amazing and would definitely come back. Best steak I’ve ever eaten.
