Lovely and calm oasis in busy city . Good free museum has plenty to see and do. Gift shop sells Sheffield made goods. Nice little coffee bar is very cheap but clean.

This was part of my first visit to Sheffield l started by spending the morning and part of the afternoon at the Millennium Gallery,it made a good start. I particularly liked the Ruskin exhibition and that of Sheffield steel& silver metal work. Photos I’ve posted include two of my own pocket knife,it was my grandfather’s and I’m 73 .
Great variety and staff handling social distancing etc very well
I went to see an exhibit there, and it was really interesting. Safety measures for Covid-19 were in place too.
Great rotating art exhibits and interesting rooms about the history of Sheffield and it's still industry. Next to the winter gardens which are lovely, can't beat a good plant!
