First time using - not that impressed. We are local and walked into here for a takeaway; initially we weren't sure if the restaurant was open or not as the large wooden door had no sign on it to say one way or the other, but on trying it, found the premises (looks to be an old pub) open. We were met with apathy from the staff, who were more intent on eating their own meals than serving the paying public theirs, but eventually got someone's attention and our order taken. We would urge you to take the precaution of adding up the cost of your own meal as ours was totalled incorrectly, and we had to challenge it before it being quickly rectified. We were kept waiting for the food a good half an hour, in that time we had a chance to look over the 'restaurant side' of the business, which to my mind, could do with a revamp - the décor is cheap and the carpet is tackier than a fly paper. After a number of obviously pre-booked collection orders (we walked in at 5.02pm when the premises opened at 5pm...) we finally got our food, and it wasn't the best Chinese I've ever had. Sorry but I will probably be using a different outlet next time.

Not sure if there is a new chef but the quality of the food has nosedived. Sad as I used to enjoy the food here but won't be back for more .

Wednesday 3rd Jan 2018. Excellent family meal for five if us especially as we had a veggie gluten free menu for one guest. Thanks Simon.
