Was really worried about our boy, he was crying, panting and seemed sad, his tail hanging down like gonzo’s nose, just not himself. Diagnosed swimmers tail given injection and some meds to see him through, was back to his normal happy waggily self before the week was out! Great vets and wonderful caring people who took the time to explain and treat our boy.
If I had the option to leave more than 5 stars, I would. This vets went above and beyond for my dog.. he received more respect and care in two days to what he ever received at the previous vets. Reception team, nurses and vet himself Matt were all outstanding and really professional. I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done. Millcroft Vets, Vet Technician and reception staff have always excelled when visiting both Aspatria and Cockermouth locations. When my cat refused to eat a certain type of new improved renal diet the staff banded together to locate the original diet for our finicky cat while we found an alternative food he would eat.nAs a customer of 18 years we highly recommend Millcroft Veterinary Services for friendliness, compassion and expertise.nOur thanks go out to the entire staff.
Everyone at Millcroft were really lovely to deal with. The people on reception were extremely helpful and talked us through the care plan we were interested in but without any pressure to sign up, however, having weighed it up we did. They arranged for our new puppy to have a health check with Emily, the vet, who was really great with Mabel and gave us all the advice we needed and answered every question we could think of asking.nnThe team at Millcroft also took great care of our previous dog, who had a wonderful life, but when it was over, treated him with great respect and dignity.nnThank you all for being so dedicated.
We had to visit out of hours after our puppy was injured. We were met at the door and were seen straight away. The nurse and vet were amazing - reassuring, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. We were then seen first thing the next morning for another check up. We cannot thank staff enough for being there for our puppy, and us, at a horrible time. Our puppy is recovering well .
