Went there last Saturday for a family gathering. I found the place easily enough with a big car park beside it. Sorry, I can not say much about the actual place as we were in one of their function rooms. Visitors need to know that the carpark is privately owned, and unless you follow their directions, you end up with a hefty parking fine. There are apparently devices in the Millcroft into which you must enter your vehicle number plate. I never saw any actual sinage outside, which was easily visible, nor was I made aware of any machine within the building. Not a lot Millcroft can do about the parking issue but they could make any internal sinage more noticeable. We were directed from the front door up the stairs by someone I took to be a member of staff as he knew about the event we were attending But never mentioned anything about the parking issues. Had he done so I would have left and moved my vehicle. A disappointing end to what should have been a great family event. Bottom line I do not expect to be back but that's not entirely Millcrofts fault. But if you intend going by car it's cheaper getting a council parking ticket for parking on double yellows rather than getting one from euro car parks.
It's alright for a local boozer. 2 function suites upstairs, 1 small and 1 larger. Downstairs 1 fairly large lounge and 1 fairly large bar. Popular for karaoke at the weekends and even more popular because there is a betting shop right next door. There doesn't seem to be any permanent staff behind the bar in the lounge but there is a bell to summon staff through from the bar. Prices are reasonable for the area considering there are plenty of other pubs in the vicinity...
I attended birthday party, The night was good for most people but for someone who is visually impaired there was a number of issues - 1. No lighting in the hall except for around the bar area 2.No light in the gents toilet, which I reported and still wasn't sorted 2 hours later 3. It's a Belhaven pub but didn't have Best in the function room so my carer had to go down to the bar for a pint, not ideal for me left sitting in the dark. 4. Another thing, as a former entertainer, was you couldn't make out a thing the DJ was saying plus the lighting display was poor with only 1 light as shown in the photo. As I said at the start most people had a good night but hopefully something will be done to improve the experience for someone like me and make it safer

They have a car park adjoined to the premises and they have introduced parking enforcement administered by eurocarparks. All good no issues and if you want your ticket validated just pop inside. One question, you park there before 11 and they issue a ticket how do I validate before 11am. I actually attended to try and book the place for a function. I stayed a while but they didn't open till 11. Low and behold a parking ticket comes in. If you want to enforce yoir parking riles before 11am I would suggest a lovely barrier, otherwise customer ls won't use your premises.
