Lovely staff despite being busy and they have decent covid restrictions in place but the place is looking a bit like it could do with a makeover. Also the stacks of chairs they have left on show made it feel like a school diner hall. The decor could be better.
My advice....go there when you are REALLY hungry as we struggled to eat a three course - the starter shared platter was filling enough. Not the most healthy of food options, but lovely all the same and the staff there were very friendly, attentive and welcoming. Highly recommend. *****

Quick service and lovely food had the hunter chicken skillet went down a treat
For a pub named after one of the Simpsons' great sidekicks, there wasn't a single picture of him anywhere. Despite this, you'll get decent food and good beer set afloat in a sea of cars.
Not a very friendly front of house lady greeted us. I understand these are difficult times but perhaps a bit more training may be needed? Went to order a roll but told no bread and no cheese for the tuna & cheese melt as they had run out! Hasten to add we drank our drinks and left!
A massive shout out to Jess W,Adam,Leah and Charl absolutely brilliant customer service. They were extremely friendly and understood and followed all covid policies,a credit to The Mill House. The food was amazing too.
