Let's be honest - you're here for the content. However, the soft serve does also taste good! While not the best ice cream in London by any means, the soft serve is solidly good. It's nice to have a hyped up dessert that is actually edible. It's overpriced, undetstaffed, and far from the best available in the area, but it exceeds its job as photogenic fodder. Milk Train literally has a miniature rose-wall inside the store made with the intention of having you post your dessert. Need I say more? For fun shots, and a decent dessert, this is great!
Seating is quite limited and its a little annoying that people take up more space than they need 2 people taking up 4-6 seats. Would be better if theres a reservation system or time limit to allow others to eat. I had also noticed a lot of flies, possibly due to the plants. Other than that, drinks passion fruit mocktail, berry smoothie and biscoff latte food and service was good. A really nice local spot, would love to visit again
I’ve been to Milk Train twice now and I love it. It’s certainly the most creative way of serving ice cream I’ve seen! The staff when I have been were lovely and they interacted with the kids behind us in line very well. I’m obsessed with the seasonal flavours they offer, I love when an ice cream shop switches things up every now and again! I got the classic Rocky Track with the Cotton Candy Cloud. Let me tell you, the photo aesthetics were crazy good with the ice cream and the atmosphere. The ice cream itself was delicious, the chocolate was so smooth! And the fact that there were pretzels and Oreos on top to give it a bit of sweet and salty made it scrumptious! I must say the atmosphere is my favourite part and make the experience 10 times better. I have come in the spring and the fall and the decor has changed to match and it had such a lovely vibe!
Delicious and good-looking ice cream shop near Covent GardenGreat texture and just the right level of sweetness. Lots of sitting space inside to enjoy the ice cream but the shop still tends to get really busy in the afternoonFood: 5/5
Just okay. Makes a cute pic, but the staff were all just standing around looking at their phones. We tried to ask some questions about the different flavors, but they were not helpful. Place was clean, no bathrooms, trash can by the door was shut down. I would definitely look elsewhere for a treat, there are many other options.Food: 3/5
Popular Ice cream shop in Covent garden. Love the tiramisu flavour very much! Many kids came here for their signature cloud ice creamFood: 5/5
I came here last year and was really looking forward to going back but I found it a little underwhelming. The choice it Ice creams was a little poor and some of the toppings were out of stock. The service was adequate. I honestly don’t see the point in having seating in this place as the booths are small so you end up standing anyway
There are just 4-5 options and most of them are without egg which is great for us. I wish they had more ice cream options and other deserts. The place is a little expensive considering a scoop of ice cream at £4.5 and the one with a cloud at £6.5 which is too high. Remember you cannot taste the ice creams so you'll end up ordering something which you may or may not like. For example we decided to get a strawberry sorbet which was bad. So make sure you get your choices right before hand. I wish they would allow us taste ice cream atleast once. Vegetarian options: Vanilla, Chocolate
Nice experience for the kids. The shop opens around midday. We got there 10 minutes after opening and the queue was outside and down the road. It took us about 15 minutes of queuing before we were finally inside the shop and ordering. Seating in the store is very very limited but we were lucky to find a table as someone was just leaving. However lots of people were standing around eating their ice creams in-store due to the lack of seating. The ice creams are lovely and very filling. The prices seem very reasonable for central London. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for something to do with kids.
This is a lovely place! First of all I would start with why 2 stars!- because of the staff here Both the asian staff serving at the counter were so grumpy! As though have to pay them extra £5 each to give a smile. That alone pisses off the customer. They have nonwelcoming attitude. They were pretending as though every customer there was doing a favour visiting this cafe! But we went there for the ice cream which was great- especially the presentation with cotton candy on it. Prices are reasonable. The ambience is really good giving the autumn atmosphere. Seating is very limited and can get crowded very soon. Please note this is closed on Monday & Tuesday Rest days they open from 1 pm If you are going for the ice cream and ambience highly recommend. Just ignore the staff-better to think that they are programmed Robots!!!
