Found this place a little dirty to be honest, especially the washrooms. Only had coffee and toast here and that was ok, but wouldn't really have a meal. It was good to sit and look out the window. This place is nothing special, I'll go check out somewhere else next time I think.
Well presented place in a quaint location with a nice view over the harbour. Sports outside seating and a comfortable indoor environment. Homemade Soup of the Day was Tomato, Chilli and Basil, which was excellently presented and very tasty. My only complaint was the fact that they had sold out of Crab by lunchtime, but that could be a testament to the popularity of the place. Would definitely recommend, but if you want to try the local catch, get there early! Would have been 5 stars except that some of the seating is just a little awkward. We ended up changing tables half way through. Perfect for the taller of us though :-
Been coming here since I moved to Ramsgate 5 years ago. Great food and lovely staff. It is the sunniest place to sit and have a coffee with friends - even in the winter it seems to have its own microclimate. Also a great view of the harbour
Ridiculously slow and weak service. A simple order of two coffees took over half an hour. Sat outside originally, but decided to move inside hoping that it would be a reminder. When it was addressed to the bar staff we were questioned what our order even was. After it was resolved we overheard the whole team behind the bar talking about it and this made us feel uncomfortable and that we had done something wrong. Lackluster coffee and left thouroughly disappointed. Will never return or recommend.
Have enjoyed early coffee in Miles Bar for years after walking the dog. Friendly atmosphere well looked after. However, the distinct lack of light now gives it a dingy appearance you cannot read a menu without walking over to the door. If you like to read a paper as supplied it is a struggle.
Pricey but nice. Did not like how the tables were so close to the road I had to watch parents pushing their strollers into the road as there was not enough room on the pavement. It does have a fantastic view of the harbour
The experiences I have had at this place are amazing. It's also the best place to go eat if you want a view and want to eat outside. The bar scene it adapts to at night is nigh unpararalled in the local area aswell.
Have not been for 6 months service still poor, bar person did not know his wines and when we ordered a large tea it came as a small and was cold. No life in there. Do not go if you want a good drink and a good atmosphere.
Found the beer on tap to be limited, the bar staff aren't particularly friendly or helpful and they seem to be popular because there's not much nearby to choose from. I've been a few times and felt rather unwelcome.
Sat down at a nice harbour front table. During a ten minute intervals two staff members passed our table but ignored us. Left, went to Rokka's. Great service there!
