I do like this station. You get central, district, and H&C lines running through here, so there are many places you can go to. I do like the mint green colouring along the sides of the pillars which maybe match the district line colour, and the red at the top for the central line. No H&C reference though. What I found really convenient was that I only had to walk a few steps across the central line platforms to get to the district/H&C platform, super easy interchange!
Woah, woah, woah... before anyone starts saying how brilliant this place is: Can I remind everyone this is A SAFETY RISK BECAUSE OF AMOUNTS OF HEADROOM. The other problems are the stairs at this place. Where is the step free access for disabled people? Where is this place supposed to be if it has not got a single amount of room to move about?? Will it be out on the street? What also happens is that there is not a place for people to wait on the platform if they want a H&C line connection with the Central Line. H&C is Hammersmith & City Line And the Central Line announcements for this place now are awful. Between 2005 and 2019 were awesome but now it is awful. However, it has good train service, and trains for the central line and district line arrive at good timings. No problems with it.
It's an underground station. Great for transport if you want the lines it is on. Pretty rubbish for anything else.
convientent interchange however the central line seems to be going slow between liverpool street and stratfordntook about 10 mins to get from stratfordndecent station nevertheless
To tfl bosses: how on earth does it make sense to have one train arriving and another leaving just a second later so people don't have a chance to change. It is just 2 seconds to allow people change by walking across. Does the 2 seconds of driver's waiting make such a difference? Especially if the next train is in 7 minutes or more, you just make people waiting for no reason. Don't tell me that those 2 seconds of driver's extra waiting will delay the service. You guys are all one big mental delay so 2 seconds is fine.
