Our Winchester Surgery is open six days a week. We maintain two branches, one located in Winchester and one in Overton near Basingstoke. We own great facilities which allow us to obtain a better diagnosis and treatment for your pets. The practice has a fully equipped preparation room, operating theatre, modern anaesthetic machines and monitoring equipment. Our in-house laboratory allows us to run blood and urine samples for rapid results. We have up-to-date diagnostic equipment such as digital x-ray, an ultrasound scanner and endoscope allowing us to quickly recognise and treat your pet’s condition. With separate dog and cat wards and a separate isolation ward our nurses are able to give the best possible nursing care whilst your pets are hospitalised within the practice. Melanie Norris and Sarah Warren have special interests and hold certificates in cardiology and dermatology respectively. Your pet may also enjoy our hydrotherapy pool. It is a zero impact form of exercise allowing the free movement of limbs in a non weight bearing environment. The warmth, pressure and buoyancy of the water has great effects and benefits your pet in many ways. With the separate emergency veterinary service using our facilities, your pet can stay comfortable in our kennels and will not have to be transferred when we close for the day.
Your new family member is certain to get a warm greeting along with a full health check. For your puppies and kittens, four weeks free Pet Plan insurance is offered when they come for their first visit. We also provide puppy parties which are very popular. In addition you will be offered the opportunity of joining our Healthy Pet Club which comes with many benefits including primary vaccinations together with kennel cough for dogs, twelve months flea and worm treatment and a great deal more.

All this equipment allows us to reach diagnosis and facilitate treatment plans to help your pets feel better when they are not well.
