Story

Mikk
Mikk Rushton; the salon owner and manager has obtained over 38 years of hairdressing experience. He has worked in Accrington for his entire Hairdressing career, with three successful salons under his belt. Now Mikk is extending his business further and launching his new shop in his hometown of St Anne’s.
Keen to keep up to date with the latest trends on the catwalk, Mikk attends hairdressing conferences and shows all over the world and uses this knowledge to further train his staff, so you can rest assured you are in the hands of experts!
In addition Mikk has been on hairdressing courses with Trevor Sorbie, Joshua Galvin, Wella, Redken, Farouk, Goldwell, Fudge, Joico, Matrix and Biorganics.

Simone, Donna and Kate – TEAM HAIR
Mikk's daughter Simone Rushton (deputy manager), has been working alongside her father to develop Mikx Hair & Beauty Salon. She is also a qualified Hairdresser and has a BA (Hons) Health Studies Degree.
We have a fantastic team of hairdressers Donna and Kate, who really are a cut above the rest!

Melanie and Hayley – TEAM BEAUTY
Melanie is our amazing nail technician, has been within the industry for over 14 years!
Hayley is our beauty therapist; she is qualified to degree level with 9 years’ experience in the industry.

The salon uses a global collection of hair products, we are the only salon in UK to use sunglitz, bioglitz, biolites, ultraglitz, diamond glitz , CHI, Biosilk part of the farouk range of natural products for colouring and highlighting.
