We popped in here because we needed a break from driving and found a warm welcome and an amazing environment. I loved all the music memorabilia. Unfortunately the kitchen was busy and there was a 30 min delay had impatient companions so I didn’t get a chance to sample the food looked nice - traditional cafe nice, but nice. The thing that made the greatest impression though was how friendly the staff were. Will be going back to try the food soon.
A busy Diner,, staff busy and courteous, food was good quality and hot.. There was a Motorcycle Meet and that was an added attraction.. would definitely go there again..
Freshly cooked, hot and above all extremely tasty Beatles breakfast. One of the best I've had and I search out roadside diners and transport type caffs. If you're in the area, make a stop for something. You won't be disappointed. Glad I stopped on my way back to Wales. The breakfast set me up for the day.
The staff here were very friendly and attentive and the service was quick. The prices were reasonable especially considering the big portion sizes and I would definitely visit here again. I found it to be very clean and the egg and bacon tasted lovely.
Fantastically decorated and super clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and made you feel so very welcome. A large menu serving breakfast all day, burgers and main meals from chilli to pies, shepherds pie to salads. There is something for everyone. Breakfast was lovely, though bacon very under done. Should have asked for crispy - I will next time! Apart from that, lovely breakfast and a great cup of tea. Oh! And did I mention it was cheap? What a find!
On the Northbound side of the A249 Detling Hill, is this great retro 50's style diner. Good food, friendly staff and everything is quite reasonably priced. They have regular car and bike meets there too.Food: 5/5
Large car park and clean inside and out! Friendly staff upon entrance, with quick service. Great portion size and quality for price, will be back!

Detling Diner has recently changed hands as the previous team have moved to the Tuck Inn on the A2.... Ate here today, currently the same menu and decor, but the new team are waiting for their menu cards etc to be delivered so it will change.... New waiting staff still getting used to the coffee machine etc but both really friendly.... One noticeable change....for the better...is that the sausages are much better quality in terms if taste and texture, and the rest of the breakfast was as good as before... The bike and car meetings will continue but the burger bar outside has gone .... I wish them good luck and will continue to make this a regular stop and meeting point...
