Story

Mike's Diving Equipment and snorkelling equipment shop has been around for 30 years - initially established by Mike Calder - pioneer of the scuba equipment retail business in the UK and now owned by Steve Brown - who started diving when he was 16 and is now humbled but proud to be taking on the reins of what is the UK's no. 1 dive stores!

I was finally nearby and had a chance to drop in. And I'm so glad I did! The service was absolutely brilliant. I was served by Colin, who obviously has a VAST knowledge about diving, the kit needed and how best to fit it. He guided me through everything I had questions about and even the things I didn't even ask. He walked me through the right levels of kit for my current experience and ambitions, and what to go for in the future, rather than sell sell sell. Colin was great, the praise is well deserved and I look forward to my next purchase! Thanks Colin!

Really impressed with Mikes Dive store! I came with a list of items needed for scuba diving for both Aquarium Tanks and Open Water. Colin was very knowledgeable, polite and incredibly helpful. This is the place to go if you want the best diving kit! I love my new fourth element co-ordinating fit :

Excellent, patient, knowledgeable service. Visited with my wife to buy a mask & snorkel each. Shown how to try the masks on and work out which one was the best fit for each of us, friendly explanation of different snorkels also. Bought a set each and left very happy, thank you, highly recommended

I couldn’t be more impressed with there products spearguns, etc the quality and durability have always been waiting on me for me next dive. Try them. Put there gear to the test, won’t disappoint:.really recommend

super helpful shop, had been struggling with buying a wetsuit online and so took a trip to get sorted.  had a great experience and came away with something cool that i really liked and fitted well, they've a selection to cater for every need.  - will definitely use this place as my shop of choice from now on!  careful though - so much nice gear in here! you can do your creditcard some serious damage!

Arrived late, Cat was happy for stay on to let me try on wetsuits. I bought new regs which Daniel assembled for me prior to leaving. Had a nice chat with them. Great service. Will be back.

Great dive shop - was helped by Harris and Cathy to get a full set up and they made helpful recommendations, no hard or over selling and tested my new equipment on site. After-sales issue also sorted without any hassle at all, really happy with the experience.

Experience in-store was not great when seeking advice about dive computers. The advisor didn’t meet us where we were at and give us appropriate options as casual recreational divers - instead reeling off 10+ models of high-end dive watches at speed with little explanation of features, functionality etc. They had good range so fine if you know exactly which model you want to view/try on, but the style of communication wasn’t accessible for casual divers with limited pre-existing product range/brand knowledge. We didn’t feel informed enough to make a purchase. Service and advice at Mike’s Dive Cameras was great though!

Made an order over the bank holiday and received very quickly, had a little issue with my order but rectified straightaway and replacement delivered within 2 days, I am very pleased with this  company and wouldn't think twice to recommend to others and wouldn't delay in ordering from again. Thank you its great to find someone who takes their customers seriously and treats them brilliantly. Thank you again great service

Finally got to visit the store to get hands on with some products after browsing their great website.  Excellent customer service from Marianna and Kassia and now the proud owner of a new dive computer.  Great store Great staff Great service Great prices.
