I asked Mifsuds for a 'Buy In' quotation for some Nikon equipment I wanted to sell. Matthew came back promptly and we agreed on a price for the lot. Collection was arranged by Mifsuds and upon arrival with them and after inspection the 'Buy in' price was confirmed. I have today received the transfer, so all in all it took 3 days to complete the transaction. I would certainly recommend them if you are looking at doing the same as me and would definitely shop with them again. Well done!
Experienced knowledgeable staff. Extremely refreshing to have full attention of staff in a shop. I wasn't spending a great deal, but I was made to feel welcome and any questions I had were answered. A huge selection of new and used cameras, lenses, bags, tripods etc etc. Highly recommend. Like Jessops, but with staff that actually know about what they are selling!! Plus there's attacks of used kit too.
The guys at Mifsuds are amazing. I've purchased a few items through the years from lense caps to tripods. Had a couple of lenses a few years ago also. They are always friendly and ready to help however today they went above and beyond. I'm down in Brixham for a camping holiday with family and somehow managed to forget the lead for our fridge. A visit to Mifsuds and the guys had sorted me out with the lead I needed and better still were more than happy to lend me the said lead until we go home again. Truly great customer service and no doubt I will be buying from them again in the future.
knowledgeable, friendly and lots of kit, definitely worth a visit for your photo needs. update from my first visit: Decided to trade up my cameras, so went in armed with my old cameras, they patiently took me through all the options and came away with two bodies and a new lens in exchange for my old ones. just took them to the harbour and took some great pictures. Very pleased with the trade in.
Great friendly service no fuss or rush and didn't favour anything had a truly open outlook over everything.

Over the years I have dealt with numerous photo shops for new & used kit. Came to Mifsuds Mathew in particular to replace/upgrade lenses etc. From the first point of contact nothing was too much trouble, even with chats re advice over the phone. Ordered my gear but had to wait two weeks for disinvestment of funds to materialise. No problems, deposit paid, items held , delivered quickly & extremely well packed. Even revieved a 'folliw up email' asking if everyyhing was ok'...I live in Lancashire....but Mifsuds is now my go to shop!. Well done Mathew & the team...5 stars all day long.
5 star shop. Friendly helpful staff. Large selection of new and used equipment. Matt the owner is a top chap who is always ready to give advice on equipment and life. I have been shopping at Mifsuds for many years and will continue too.
I bought 2 lenses from them. Good communication from them at all stages of the process. Easy to rearrange delivery to suit me. Ordered late Saturday in my hands Wednesday. Items well packaged and as described. Will buy from again
They're wonderful! Exceptionally knowledgeable. Kind and friendly. My photographer friend first brought me here years ago when I bought my first camera. Today, I went to take my camera in for cleaning. And unfortunately I arrived after they closed. arrived late due to roadworks while on public transport took 2 1/2 hours to get there on a bus from newton abbot anyway, thankfully, they had an outside business hours number I could contact. They were extremely understanding, and the man came down to the shop especially for me to put my camera in for cleaning. Highly recommend to everyone. Just, try to avoid coming out of hours.
