Unsupportive of students even though facilities are alright and it prepares students to be part of the matrix for the rest of their lives,so bad school. They give out consequences random for no reason
Not a fan... The teachers care more about themselves/uniform/reputation than us and as long as you're under the strict uniform policy you're fine. They take care of bullying in bad ways and you HAVE to have a silly little card on you at all times or you lose 2 hours of education in isolation. They never listen and they don't pay much attention to you unless you're actually liked by them, which is highly unlikely to happen. Another thing is, if you just happen to be, say, 5 seconds late to class, you have the chance of getting sent to isolation straight away. I would never recommend this school to anyone else and I'm surprised I've not kept looking at other schools. They're so judgemental when they want to be and the uniform policy is so strict that if you get it wrong once you lose 2 hours education. This is not the right place for any student to look into unless it's a life or death situation. I will keep looking at different schools from now
I'm a student at mrc and I am part of special ed and are looked after by the sen teachers and I don't think that part of the school is bad I'm now a year 10 and I have been there for 3 years I'm on my 4th but when I started they don't help if you are stressed and if you have something true to say 3/9 teachers that I know there don't care about how you feel, it feels like your not being listened to although the other 6/9 teachers do care about how you feel and I have almost had 6 mental breakdowns because I was stressed but there is one teacher that I can rant to about anything and I would recommend miss temple because she just gets what ever your going through but over all my mum had to attempt get them to believe that I was a special needs kid , the main teacher's there are really strict and will get you detentions for anything and everything
Went there this evening for Petworth Literary Festival. Parking was atrocious. Very nice toilets once I was able to locate them.
Really overdo it for year 7s. Dont ease them In or anything. Even stuff over the holidays. Kids do need a childhood too. Children get ranked among all the other pupils in their year group for each subject each term. You'd feel great if you were last or near the back wouldn't you. Homework is all over the place to find and there is ridiculous amounts. It's not all bad but the kids need to have time to be kids too! A few changes could make this review so much better.
I was a past student before the school moved into the new building it was a nice school, ok but there were some issues I was sad that I left at the end of year 7 in 2012 but it was a better school than where I am now and I’ve been to 4 different schools
Head Teacher cares more about school uniform and reputation then the actual students learning, he also wastes school money on pointless "inspirational" quotes to put around the school instead of useful school supplies. 75% of the time we get a supply/cover teacher instead of the actual teacher which means we learn nothing for that hour.
the school is so bad, all teachers want is money and nothing else, you would be down and not working your 100% best and they do is shout and use there power to the extreme, i would never recommend this school to anyone... the head is basically and walking idiot and deserves none of the respect he gets, like people say give respect to people who give you respect, and as you can tell he gives us 0 respect, once again this school is absolutely horrid and needs a new head. whould not recommend a single bit.
Was interested on sending my daughter to this school from next year, but read all the reviews and unfortunately the college won't have my daughter who is one of the top kids in her current school. The reviews says it all, The Ofsted ratings are useless. We will stick with our other choices.
most teachers are just there for the money and could not give dam if your being bullied or you need support. their main focus is uniform I am in year 8 and had to spend 6 hours in isolation because my trousers were too tight ! I missed a whole dy of learning for this !!!!!!
