Thank you to Molly for her really helpful emails whilst booking my sons birthday. We can’t fault the experience. We were met by Izzy who was brilliant throughout and very helpful. The party room was set out lovely, party bags were great and the food was served on time and without fuss. All the kids had a great time and I want to say a huge thanks to Izzy who was on her own but was calm and fabulous throughout. Thank you we will be back.
Had a birthday party here for my child. Much cheaper than the other local competitor. Much cleaner than it was in past and everyone really enjoyed it. However, one member of bar staff was more interested in playing on her phone than serving customers. She did have the grace to look embarrassed when she finally noticed me.
had a lovely time - the alleys have been recently refurbished and have a good bowling surface, and the deals are great. staff were attentive and quick to help. It's great that they offer lanes by the hour and unlimited bowling - when you are practicing you don't want just a few frames, you want a period of time to bowl and this alley offers this for really god prices. Note: the LED colour changing lanes may put off more professional bowlers, but we were able to adapt to the colours quickly :
Very nice ace to take your kids out. Food nice and not ruining your pocket. Kids friendly . Arcades are the cherry on the top. Nice staff. Highly recommended.
We booked for an hours bowling for a family of 5, I thought £25 was a good price as we were going to make a day of it. When we arrived it wasn't busy, a party was just leaving and only about 4 lanes being used so I set the kids up on our lane and went straight to the bar to order some food and drinks as it was lunchtime. Once at the bar I tried to order a pizza, the girl behind looked at me gone out then said that she would have to go and check in the kitchen only to come back to say if we wanted food we would have to wait an hour 1/2 for it......considering it was practically empty I couldn't believe it. It's a shame as we would of spent more money that they have lost out on. So in the end we grabbed some crisps and finished the game, we spent a little time in the arcade but the kids were so hungry they just wanted to leave.
The Ladies working at the time of our visit were super efficient, very polite and very welcoming. My 2 grandchildren and myself had a great time, it was clean, tidy and the spooky theme went down well with my grandson.
Always an enjoyable experience in Banbury bowl. So easy to book and the atmosphere is so fun. The food is amazing especially the pizzas are delicious. Definitely would recommend:
Drinks arrived quickly, bowling was absolutely fine but the lift seems broken every time we come which is really off putting having to carry a toddler and pushchair up the whole of the stairs. Won’t be returning until the lift is fixed
Easy to park access & there is a lift, staff friendly. Arcade was nice & clean. Change machines not working but you could get from the desk but did have to stand a que. We had a lovely day out
Poor - booked in for my daughter, partner and myself with our 8 month old. No advisory to make us aware that the lift didn’t work, no signage, pressed the button and gave up waiting. Had to take 8 month old out of the buggy and carry it and him up the stairs and back down once we left. Asked at reception if the lift wasn’t working to which was confirmed. Bowled on Lane 2, no ramp to get the buggy up and no kids ball ramp to use so had to share between us and two other groups. Toilets messy and machines either got coins stuck or were out of order, food wasn’t being served until half an hour in to our visit for an unknown reason. Won’t be going back.
