Story

In most parts of the world, food is an important social event so it is good to see that Mezza Luna on Cardiff's City Road is challenging the western way of eating.

The first thing that grabs you when you enter Mezza Luna is the remarkable décor. Great care has been taken over the look and feel of the place. The walls and ceilings are adorned by a series of hand-carved plaster carvings depicting Mediterranean scenes giving the place a totally unique but welcoming feel.

Start your meal off with batata hara - a Lebanese spiced potato recipe; You may well be overwhelmed with the choice of mains, the favourites being the very popular Chicken Shawerma; Strips of chicken breast sauteed with Special Shawerma spices- Served on fresh bread & salad. . or try Special Mezza Luna Paella, succulent Tiger Prawns, Calamari & Green-lipped Mussels cooked with peppers, tomato sauce & rice.

If by some chance you have room for dessert, why not indulge yourself in their speciality Baklava that is simply irresistible...
