The adjacent Trials Garden is open throughout summer and showcases the best of what the nursery is growing. Have been here twice now and it’s a great place to visit. They have some great plants at a good price. The food, cakes and puddings were delicious. The staff in the cafe and the plant section are really friendly and helpful. Went around the garden which has a coy carp pond and it’s really beautiful and maintained to the highest standard.
Top place for plants and cafe good as well. Gardens and ponds exceptional.
The garden has opened early and it is stunning. The garden centre cafe was clean, the staff friendly and the cakes gorgeous. I went overboard buying plants but I couldn't resist. All in all a lovely afternoon. The photos don't do it justice

What a lovely garden centre! We were given so much helpful tips and advice from a lovely chap called Gaz, we came away with lots of plants to make our own hanging baskets which have turned out great! We had coffee and cake in the café and the cakes are all home baked and delicious too - we will certainly be visiting again :
Meynell Langley Tea Rooms. A most delightful cafe in the Log-Cabin style with veranda and conservatory. The staff are extremely friendly and service is fast. I have been coming here every couple of weeks or so for several years now with friends as it makes a really pleasant bike ride from Burton upon Trent, about 14mls. The delightful lanes are extensive in all directions so it can be longer with a little imagination. Opening times 10.00-4.30 Mon/Sat. 10.00-4.00 Sunday. See my pics for extensive menu..............enjoy. Large car-park for customers only. Kedleston Park is nearby enabling outstanding walks.
We received a lovely welcome to the garden which contained a huge amount of spring planting. There's a lot of hanging baskets leading to beautiful ponds resplendent with fish and tadpoles. The arched bridge over the pool makes for a great photo opportunity. A sedum covered seating area was a pleasant space to take in the double row of box hedge pruned to resemble urns that were filled with pansies. There's a huge amount of different tulips to look at, many I'd never seen before. Excellent adjoining garden centre that concentrates on quality.bedding plants/hanging baskets for sale along with a wide variety of sown vegetable packs. We had lunch at the on site tea room. Can recommend the lasagne and though not tomato sauce based was very tasty. Prices were reasonable and I came away with a lot of plants. We'll certainly be returning and will look forward to seeing the garden in summer bloom.

Nice 'GARDEN' centre with a very nice tea room to boot. Nice garden to walk around from 25 June as well. Plenty o'fruit trees with a 130 year-old Peach tree to boot Nice afternoon out and only just down the road from Kedleston Hall to boot!
