Such good value for money! The family sharing meal is the best. You have so much choice and it is delicious. Even the plain rice is full of flavour. I’ve been there twice in one month now. Great service too!
They are not afraid to recommend dishes, which I really admire. The portion is huge so I’d suggest to share one main for two people. We had a doggy bag so enjoyed next day at home too : They also have a proper charcoal grill so you can tell the flavour differs to other restaurants. Highly recommend this, looking forward to going back and try more!
The place is very nice. The food was delicious. It was a bit of a wait for the food but that's because there was a party downstairs and the waiters told us beforehand also the chef apologised. They were nice enough to give an extra tea and baklava. Overall I'd recommend to try this place out.
We ordered hummus, which we expected to be really good given they have good ambience that gives authentic vibes. But it came with no side and was not fresh. The texture was not even smooth. Comparing to even an average restaurant at Edgware they give generous pitas with hummus which is so smooth and heavenly! Also they don’t serve fresh juice! They charge 2.50 for store bought juice in a glass. Kill me for ordering it mate.
We were searching for a turkish restaurant for months. One to live up to our excellent standard that we were use to in the city and Meydan didnt dissappoint! The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. The quality of the food is a pleasure on the tongue. We ordered lamb shank with rice and carrots, mixed mez platter for two and lentil soup. We went back the following week for take away lamb chops. Again the service and food was delicious! I highly recommend. PS! The toilets were clean but could do with the mens door shutting as they enter. We were faced with a back end view of a man relieving himself

This is due to the service! Thank you Meydan team, not all places have good service like you do and I hope you continue to keep it that way. Second time I’ve been here, food is lovely. Beautiful interior. Made a reservation one week ago. Clear negotiation. Arrived on the day and had late guests, as well as a cake which we ordered from outside and we was catered very well by a female waiter. My dinner was brilliant throughout. Thank you
A lovely restaurant to visit if you’re in East London. Food is always delicious and the portions are large. Love that we are served with a yummy starter of salad, dips and fresh bread - they really care about their customers. Service is great, never left waiting. Price is reasonable for London and what you get - worth a visit. I’d share a picture but clearly it’s so delicious I don’t have the patience to take one. I’d recommend the moussaka meat and veggie, any of the wraps and the yoghurt Adana. Enjoy!
Food arrived looking like left overs first of all. I ordered a mixed shish which was meant to come with bulgar wheat Adana kebab, chicken and lamb shish. I received a few pieces of meat and was charged almost £18 - I called the restaurant to complain but nothing was done about it. How is this a mixed shish meal please???? there’s hardly anything there except a massive tomato on top of it.
