It’s better to make a reservation or wait until a person finishes. This place is usually busy. It’s a very good spot for a weekend getaway with friends or just by yourself. Very affordable and well maintained.
We are Nextdor Neighbour finding really comfortable place to play family kids it’s a very good time nice small restaurant. Team is very good work in . Italian restaurant for food is great. They took so long to take our order. We had to go and reminder at reception..
Great range & you can order pizza to your bay.
Good place to golf, greens are unforgiving and require great skill to master, I have an abundance of cool calm and collect as I shot a +11, I will be back.. foooorrrre
Great driving range, reasonably priced. Club hire is extra if you don’t have your own but at £1 per club you can’t really argue. American Golf on site which is well stocked with friendly helpful staff. this really is an all in one place with a driving range, par 3 course, adventure golf and an Italian restaurant all on the one site. Don’t forget to “check in” your car to get free parking!
Ball tracking system for the driving range is spectacular. All the details are measured!
All the gear but no idea… but not much of the gear either? Although perhaps a great place to begin to learn golf, do not look for anything beyond sustaining some basic elements of your own golf practice here at Metro Golf. The range is clearly a callback to another era, with limited width and length and more recently falling foul of the “top-golf syndrome” of bright colours and annoying screens making data grabs at every opportunity. - No ball reloading in bays or auto tees. - Old, damaged and unbranded range balls, and yet high pricing. - No decent rental clubs or full stiff shafted sets for visitors. - Almost no lefty clubs for a visitor to use. - Unclear ball tracking with frustratingly basic visualisation Just Use TRACKMAN - Small and cramped pro shop. - Insufficient parking space on arrival. - badly attended Par 3 with no evidence of golf standard green-keeping, awful greens and many MANY balls flying over the range and onto the first fairway. Literally the safety hazard that could put the nail in the coffin of the whole experience. Metro Golf is sadly more of a kids club than a range run for serious golfers.
Average driving range. Very terrible service from the young gentleman behind the counter. Did not even explain how anything works even after telling him its our first time at this range. Had to go back to the entry desk 4 times to ask for things which should have been explained when we paid. Stick to topgolf- its worth it!!!
Great little 9 hole course. You only need three clubs a putter, sand and pitch wedge to get round in an hour. There is a two tier driving range and an Italian restaurant within the building. Great food there and good quality coffee to take onto the range or course.
I like this place, ots pretty chill and the staff are nice and keep thebplace in good order and pretty much all the other people hitting balls seem nice, no pressure, nobody judging you like a few other spots, just work on your game have fun :
