Great place for a walk. Has become much busier since lockdown. Plenty of open space, shared path along river sections, with cyclists, & horses. Some seats, & picnic tables, but not enough litter bins.
Nice afternoon walk. Not as busy as I expected on a Sunday. Very disappointed with amount of rubbish everywhere. Cute little coffee and snack van that accepts credit cards!
A lovely place for a walk. New path laid in January, across the meadow, which provides easier access to the pond where Dragon Flies, Damsel Flies, frogs, toads and newts can be seen, in season, along with all the usual pond life.
Nice enough walk. It is part or the national cycle path though and gets quite busy with bikes riding up and down. Best to keep your dog on a lead. Seen plenty of animals, birds on this route. Bats at night. Herons and Cormorants are often seen by the water. Also have seen the odd deer, fox and hedgehogs in the surrounding woodland.
To much rubbish on the paths
Went looking for barbel and found none. Better look next time
So nice to have this on our doorstep. Plenty of paths to explore in this urban countryside area.
Lovely place and the view is so beautiful. I feel so calm and relax when ever I visit.
Lovely place for a walk along the Mersey and around the nature area.
