Fresh fish straight off the boat. Couldn't possibly get fresher from anywhere. Kind hardworking people. Worth the queue and every penny. Highly recommended all year around.
Selling a good range of local and sourced fish. Nice and friendly, these good folks will deliver and will also visit a number of local towns an villages. The local fish on offer are dependent on the season, so would advise ringing ahead to see what they have. Frozen fish are also available as is squid.
The greatest fish operation, worldwide. As well as the freshest, best condition bass, Dover sole and skate, there's always an interesting species or two on offer - I've had plaice, flounder, monkfish, turbot, codling, squid and lobsters from the Catch over the years. They charge far less than they should, too.
Not a shop it's a lady selling local fish from her garage. We purchased fresh cod smoked salmon and prawns, all of which tasted fantastic. Check opening times before you go to avoid disappointment.
Twice a week those in the know line up for the freshest fish at way below supermarket prices. Shellfish start around May time, something about no R in the month. Very friendly people and well worth the queue.
Fantastic fresh produce. What a luxury to be able to turn up and buy fresh local fish caught that very day, always a great selection.
