Story

Merritts are a dedicated machinery movement specialist, operating from a modern facility based in Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.

Our primary aim is to provide project managed services for the lifting, transportation, offloading and positioning of industrial machinery.

We offer our customers a professional service that includes the disconnection, removal, loading/unloading, positioning and re-connection of machinery.

Merritts currently operate a large fleet of vehicles which includes specialist crane lorries, flat bed and step-frame trailers, low loaders, specialist curtain side trailers, tackle vans and personnel carriers.

Our fleet also accommodates a range of the latest versa lift trucks, which can be used in the lifting and loading process.

Additionally, we can also provide industrial storage solutions at our secure facility in the East Midlands, which can include HMRC approved bonded storage for industrial machinery and equipment.

We can also provide industrial training at our dedicated training facility, which includes accredited courses for fork lift truck, manual handling, lifting and slinging, abrasive wheels, emergency aid and ADR.
